Full Job Description
Titre/Title : Tech lead/Architecte logiciel - Systemes embarques C/C++ / C/C++ Embedded Systems Tech Lead/Software Architect

Lieu/Location : Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue et Kirkland - Presentiel requis 1 a 4 jours/semaine / Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue and Kirkland - On-site required 1 to 4 days/week,

Duree/Duration : 12 mois avec possibilite de permanence client par la suite - 40 heures/semaine / 12 months with a possibility of permanent client placement thereafter - 40 hours/week

Le candidat doit posseder les qualifications suivantes :

Responsabilites
  • Soutenir l'elaboration de la documentation formelle dans un environnement d'equipe multidisciplinaire (systemes, numerique, RF)
  • Interagir avec les clients et participer a l'estimation de nouveaux projets
  • Definir les requis et l'architecture
  • Agir comme leader au sein d'initiatives d'amelioration continue
  • Agir comme leader quant au developpement des membres de son equipe : conduire des rencontres un a un (one on one), agir comme coach, offrir de la retroaction de performance
  • Travailler avec une equipe agile en tant que leader technique
  • Collaborer avec une equipe pour concevoir, coder, mettre a l'essai et maintenir le logiciel de vol integre en utilisant la suite d'outils de developpement
  • Soutenir l'integration des codes de vol et les essais au sein des unites de vol
  • Diagnostiquer les bogues et les problemes dans le laboratoire.
  • Soutenir l'automatisation des processus logiciels

Exigences
  • Baccalaureat en genie electrique ou informatique ou equivalent
  • Minimum de 15 ans d'experience en developpement de logiciels embarques
  • Experience avec les systemes d'exploitation en temps reel (RTOS)
  • Programmation C++ 17
  • Leadership dans un environnement agile
  • Experience avec l'integration et la livraison continues (CI/CD)
  • Experience avec les systemes de controle de version tels que GIT
  • Tres bonnes capacites de communication et de collaboration

Criteres souhaitables
  • Connaissance de standards de communications pour satellite tel DVB-S2X
  • Experience en systemes RF
  • Connaissance de CCSDS, MIL-STD-1553
  • Connaissance des protocoles tels que le bus CAN et SpaceWire
  • Experience avec Visual Studio ou Eclipse
  • Experience avec JIRA et Confluence
  • Experience avec VectorCast
  • Experience en Linux embarque
  • Experience en developpement logiciel formel (exigences, conception, essais).
  • Maitrise du francais et de l'anglais
Note: Les conseillers devront obtenir l'accreditation CGP (Programme des Marchandises controlees) et la cote de fiabilite "Secret ". CGP obligatoire pour debuter le mandat, la fiabilite pourra etre obtenue apres (avec preuve ecrite que le processus est en cours)

Technical Requirements
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in software development and/or software architecture.
  • Advanced expertise in C and C++ in embedded environments.
  • Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
  • Ability to analyze complex system requirements and translate them into software architecture.
  • Very strong technical documentation skills.
  • Participation in integration, validation, complex troubleshooting, and technical planning activities (PI Planning, work packages).
Soft Skills
  • Concrete technical leadership and credibility with development teams.
  • Strong analytical and complex problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with system, development, integration, and QA teams.
  • Ability to influence technical decisions and ensure team alignment.
  • High degree of autonomy in a complex and critical development environment.
Assets
  • Experience in aerospace or avionics.
  • Direct experience on flight control software.
  • Experience in critical embedded software development.
  • Knowledge of Python for tooling, testing, or automation.
  • Experience in an R&D environment or in Greenfield product development.
  • Experience collaborating with QA and embedded software validation teams.

Consultants must obtain the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) accreditation and a Secret reliability status. CGP is mandatory to start the assignment; reliability status can be obtained afterward (with written proof that the process is underway).
