Titre / Title : Conseiller en ingenierie systeme de charge utile SAR / SAR Payload Systems Engineering Advisor

Duree / Duration : 12 mois - 40 h par semaine / 12 months - 40 hours per week
Lieu / Location : Montreal - West Island, 4 jours par semaine au bureau / Montreal - West Island, 4 days per week in office

Qualifications Requises:
  • B.Sc. en genie electrique, aerospatial ou physique avec 5 +annees d'experience dans le developpement de systemes de teledetection sur missions LEO/MEO; l'experience en essais est un atout.
  • Grande aisance redactionnelle et solide comprehension des fondamentaux de l'ingenierie spatiale.
  • Profil "hands on": capable de soutenir les processus d'integration, de tests et de resolution les problemes.
  • Maitrise de Confluence et JIRA.
  • Capacite a travailler de facon autonome avec peu de supervision.
  • Capacite a fragmenter les problemes complexes en elements de base pour les resoudre par analyse, analogie ou creativite.

Description du poste :
  • Recueillir les exigences fonctionnelles, performance, pointage, environnementales et de securite aupres des parties prenantes de la mission et l'elaboration des CONOPs.
  • Faire le lien entre les exigences et les performances de la charge utile avec le processeur embarque.
  • Coordonner avec l'equipe cybersecurite pour les evaluations specifiques a la charge utile.
  • Effectuer la gestion des exigences et maintenir la tracabilite bidirectionnelle pendant tout le cycle de vie du programme.
rchitecture & Conception de la Charge Utile
  • Concevoir l'architecture de la charge utile (reseaux d'antennes et chaine RF Tx/Rx, formation de faisceau numerique, chaine de traitement et electronique numerique, puissance, thermique et masse).
  • Diriger les phases conceptuelle, preliminaire et detaillee du design, en produisant des etudes de compromis et des budgets de performance.
  • Rediger les documents d'interface (ICD) avec les autres sous-systemes et le segment sol.
  • Fournir les specifications au niveau systeme aux concepteurs materiel, examiner les schemas, les dispositions, les interfaces thermiques et les contraintes mecaniques.
Simulation & Analyse
  • Realiser des simulations de performance pour assurer la qualite d'image.
  • Soutenir le developpement d'algorithmes et d'analyses pour le traitement SAR et le detecteur de cibles en mouvement et pointage des faisceaux.
  • Definir et maintenir le budget de puissance DC de la charge utile avec des modeles d'utilisation.
  • Effectuer des analyses FMECA, FDIR, fiabilite et de disponibilite afin de repondre aux objectifs de mission.
Coordination Interfonctionnelle, Parties Prenantes & Interaction Programme
  • Communiquer l'etat technique, les evaluations de risques et les resultats des etudes de compromis a la direction du programme et/ou aux clients ou partenaires.
  • Soutenir l'autorite de conception de la charge utile lors des revues de conception (interfaces puissance/structure/thermique et evaluations des operations de mission).
  • Faire le lien avec les equipes Electrique, Alimentation, Structures, Thermique, Logiciel, Segment sol et Operations de mission pour resoudre les problemes d'integration des les premieres etapes.
  • Soutenir les activites B&P (Phase 0 & pre-phase A).
Integration & Verification (IVV)
  • Elaborer le Plan de verification de la charge utile couvrant les tests unitaires et systeme, les essais environnementaux et de compatibilite electromagnetique (EMC).
  • Piloter la mise en place du cadre d'automatisation des tests, la definition des cas de test, l'analyse des resultats et la certification des rapports d'essai.
Leadership Technique & Mentorat
  • Encadrer, guider les ingenieurs debutants, intermediaires et les stagiaires.
  • gir en tant que liaison technique avec les clients, partenaires et fournisseurs externes.
  • Participer aux initiatives d'amelioration continue.
  • Contribuer a la base de connaissances de MDA, aux ameliorations de processus et a l'elaboration de normes.

  • Write Interface Control Documents (ICDs) with other subsystems and the ground segment.
  • Provide system-level specifications to hardware designers and review schematics, layouts, thermal interfaces, and mechanical constraints.

  • Support algorithm development and analysis for SAR processing, moving target detection, and beam pointing.
