Summary:

HII's Mission Technologies division is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to support our All-Domain Operations business group. In this role, you will partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to attract and hire talent supporting complex defense, intelligence, cyber, and mission-focused programs across the United States and internationally.

The ideal candidate is a consultative recruiting partner who understands how to translate business and program requirements into effective recruiting strategies. This individual must have experience recruiting for technical skill sets, while also being comfortable supporting a broader range of positions that may include program management, operations, logistics, intelligence, training, business development, and other mission-support functions.

This is a remote position, with occasional travel to hiring events, business locations, or team meetings as needed.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage full life-cycle recruiting for positions supporting the All-Domain Operations business group, from intake and sourcing through offer acceptance and preboarding.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers, HR leaders, and business stakeholders to understand workforce needs, position requirements, program priorities, and hiring timelines.
  • Develop and execute tailored recruiting strategies for technical, operational, professional, and mission-support roles.
  • Recruit for a variety of skill sets, which may include engineering, cybersecurity, information technology, intelligence, program management, logistics, training, field operations, and other cleared or specialized talent.
  • Proactively source qualified candidates through job boards, internal databases, professional networks, social media, Boolean searches, referrals, career fairs, and direct outreach.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring, high-volume, difficult-to-fill, and critical program requirements.
  • Conduct candidate screenings to evaluate experience, technical qualifications, competencies, clearance requirements, compensation expectations, and overall fit.
  • Provide hiring managers with market insights and guidance regarding talent availability, competition, compensation considerations, and recruiting strategies.
  • Manage job postings, candidate submissions, interview coordination, selection activity, offer development, pre-closing, and candidate communication.
  • Deliver a responsive and positive experience for candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruiting process.
  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate and requisition information in SuccessFactors and other Talent Acquisition systems.
  • Support recruiting efforts for new business awards, program transitions, incumbent capture, and other time-sensitive staffing initiatives.
  • Advise hiring managers on effective interviewing, candidate assessment, and compliant hiring practices.
  • Participate in Talent Acquisition and business meetings, providing clear updates on recruiting progress, challenges, risks, and recommended actions.
  • Collaborate across Talent Acquisition to share talent pipelines, sourcing strategies, market intelligence, and best practices.
  • Represent HII Mission Technologies at virtual and in-person hiring, networking, military, and industry events as needed.
  • Ensure recruiting activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and Talent Acquisition processes.


What We're Looking For:

  • 6 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree in a related field; 4 years of relevant experience with a master's degree in a related field; or a high school diploma or equivalent and 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated success managing full life-cycle recruiting, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, candidate evaluation, offer management, and closing.
  • Experience recruiting for technical skill sets, such as engineering, cybersecurity, information technology, software, intelligence, technicians, or other specialized roles.
  • Ability to recruit across a varied portfolio that also includes operational, programmatic, professional, and mission-support positions.
  • Experience using proactive sourcing techniques, including Boolean searches, job boards, social media, professional networks, internal databases, referrals, and direct candidate outreach.
  • Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and shifting business priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and provide consultative guidance to hiring managers and business leaders.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, preferably SuccessFactors, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while maintaining strong communication and engagement with geographically dispersed stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for hiring events, business meetings, or other recruiting activities.


Preferred Experience:

  • Experience recruiting within the defense, aerospace, intelligence, federal contracting, or government services industries.
  • Experience recruiting candidates with active security clearances or supporting positions with clearance and security requirements.
  • Experience supporting high-volume hiring, program transitions, contract awards, incumbent capture, or contingent hiring.
  • Knowledge of technical and mission-focused talent markets, relevant employers, professional organizations, and talent communities.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop sourcing strategies for critical, specialized, or difficult-to-fill positions.
  • Active engagement in digital, social, military, veteran, or diversity recruiting.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to influence stakeholders using recruiting data and market insights.
  • Understanding of federal contractor compliance requirements and Talent Acquisition policies and processes.
