communication throughout. We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team - bring your ambition and shape what comes next.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will independently own full-cycle experienced-hire recruitment across Audit & Accounting, Tax, Advisory, and Infrastructure functions. It does not include campus or articling student recruitment, which is managed by a separate, dedicated team. If you're looking for a hands-on execution role where you'll build the pipeline, run the process, and see it through to an accepted offer - this role is for you.
This is a hybrid position, requiring 3 days in our Vancouver office.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Own the full cycle. Lead full-cycle recruitment to attract top talent for a variety of roles in Audit & Accounting, Tax, Advisory, and Infrastructure functions.
- Build talent pipelines proactively. Collaborate with senior leadership to anticipate hiring needs and proactively build and manage talent pipelines across our Toronto and Vancouver offices.
- Represent the firm's employer brand and EVP. Champion and elevate Baker Tilly's employer brand by acting as an ambassador of our values, culture, and employee experience clearly articulating our value proposition to attract exceptional people.
- Own your metrics. Track and report on time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and pipeline health, and use that data to continuously sharpen your sourcing strategy.
- Deliver a strong candidate experience at every stage, ensuring timely, professional communication throughout.
A successful candidate will have:
- 3-5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience in a professional services or corporate environment.
- Proven experience as a hands-on sourcer and pipeline builder.
- Working fluency in recruitment metrics, and comfort using data to guide decisions.
- Strong relationship-building skills with hiring stakeholders, candidates, and cross functional partners.
- Confidence and executive presence representing an employer brand externally.
- A Bachelor's degree or diploma in HR or a related field is an asset.
