Active Secret Clearance is required to startJob Description Support the development, integration, verification, and certification of aerospace systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architectures, manage requirements, perform system analysis, and ensure successful delivery of system engineering products throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities - Develop, decompose, allocate, and manage system requirements.
- Perform system architecture, logical decomposition, and functional analysis.
- Support system verification, validation, and certification activities.
- Participate in FAA and Military certification efforts.
- Support risk, issue, opportunity, and technical performance management.
- Develop system engineering artifacts including requirements, specifications, architecture models, and technical reports.
- Lead and support technical reviews, working groups, and customer meetings.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Support systems integration, testing, and design review activities.
- Utilize MBSE and requirements management tools including CAMEO, MSOSA, Rhapsody, DOORS, TeamCenter, and 3DX.
- Mentor team members and ensure quality of engineering deliverables.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Data Science, or related technical field.
- 2+ years of systems engineering experience.
- Experience with System Architecture and Modeling tools (CAMEO, MSOSA, Rhapsody).
- Experience with Requirements Management tools (IBM DOORS).
- Experience in requirements verification and validation.
Preferred Qualifications - 3+ years of related systems engineering experience.
- Experience with ICD development, requirements development, and logical architecture.
- Experience with risk, issue, and opportunity management.
- Experience leading SRR, PDR, and CDR reviews.
- Experience with systems integration, lab testing, ground testing, and flight testing.
- Experience supporting FAA, EASA, or Military certification programs.
- Knowledge of avionics, mission systems, networking, MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, and aircraft systems.
- INCOSE Certification preferred.
Education Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and technical experience.
