Job Description
Performs regular administration and conducts basic performance trend analyses and server capacity. Performs system configurations and backups with minimal guidance. As assigned, implements monthly, quarterly, or hotfix patches to address security vulnerabilities or bugs. Resolves standard customer system issues and implements and documents technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
System Installation &Configuration - Software Administration:
- Maintainsoperating systems to ensure effective installation and performance asinstructed.
- Assists in theadministration of middleware products in environments.
- Begins tosupport the deployment, maintenance, and operation of internal applications asneeded.

- Builds workingknowledge of application monitoring tools to ensure efficiency.
System Installation &Configuration - Installation and Configuration:
- Installs andconfigures servers, cloud infrastructure, and assigned software andenvironments.
- Performs systemconfigurations and backups with minimal guidance to ensure optimization ofserver infrastructure.
- Supportshardware maintenance, auditing, installation, and provisioning as necessary.
System Installation &Configuration - Identity & Access Management:
- With minimalguidance, administers access privileges in the identity and access managementsystem to ensure accurate access to IT resources.
- Assists withmonitoring user activity in the identity and access management system andreporting on system activity.
Service Lifecycle Management- Batch Processing:
- Monitors thebatch process to ensure the updates are applied and escalates any issues thatarise.
- Implementsbatch management with some guidance to configure jobs and job streams, definedependencies, and report job performance.
Service Lifecycle Management- Security Maintenance:
- Followsexisting procedures to provide assurance that compute and storage devices aresecure.
- Monitors andevaluates high-level service and infrastructure dashboards and identifiesanomalies.
- As assigned,implements monthly, quarterly, or hotfix patches to address securityvulnerabilities or bugs.
Service Lifecycle Management- System & Security Improvements:
- Implementsenhancements to improve the performance reliability, and security, of systemsand environments with guidance.
Incident Management &Support - Incident Management:
- Supports theend-to-end incident management lifecycle to ensure systems are stable, secure,and performing accurately.
- May participatein incident review meetings to understand and provide some feedback foroperational performance and solution implementation.
- Engages withcross-functional teams (e.g., Development, Cloud Engineering, ProductEngineering, other IT teams) to support implementation and/or resolution forincidents, risks, or migrations.
Incident Management &Support - Technical Support:
- Regularlymonitors the production environment by checking system error logs andmonitoring ticket queues.
- Adheres to teamschedule to contribute to ongoing technical support and service objectives.
- Resolvesstandard customer system issues and implements and documents technicalsolutions.
Incident Management &Support - Backups and Disaster Recovery:
- Builds workingknowledge of systems to perform standard backup, restore, and disaster recoveryprocesses.
- Participates indisaster recovery drills to ensure preparedness and compliance.
- Supportsimplementation of disaster recovery solutions to ensure preparedness andregulatory compliance.
Communication &Documentation - Technical Communication:
- Begins tocommunicate technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel.
- May serve as atechnical liaison and provide domain-specific knowledge to select projects,programs, and activities.
Communication & Documentation- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintainsdocumentation on ticket updates, code contributions, infrastructure,configurations, processes, and procedures (e.g., Disaster Recovery plans,Standard Operating Procedures, Corrective and Preventative Action Plans).
- Helps generateweekly and monthly reports on system performance and incident progress tosupport operational and management outcomes.
- Performsquality checks of technical documentation.
Additional Responsibilities(as needed)
Cloud InfrastructureSupport:
- May collaboratewith DevOps and Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) teams to provide support forlarge-scale infrastructure with guidance.
- Implementscontinuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines withguidance.
- Performs patchingand version upgrades with guidance to support cloud infrastructure.
Automation:
- Troubleshootsstandard issues with automation tools, agents, and other connectivity to 3rdparty applications.
- Providessupport for cloud technologies as needed.

US: Hiring Range in USD from $28.41 to $56.83 per hour; from: $59,100 to $118,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
