Ensure design compliance with architecture and security standards
Collaborate with security engineers to resolve vulnerabilities
Prepare communications for system release updates
Prioritize tasks in conjunction with project leads
Interoperate with Cloud Service Providers on PKI requirements
Research technologies to enhance Authentication security

Systems Architect Chantilly, VA TS/SCI with Poly

Do you want to join a team that is building tailored technical solutions to modernize our government27s mission and our client27s business? Do you have a desire to change how people work? Are you interested in helping to protect our nation27s cyber interests? Join our growing team supporting customer missions as a Systems Architect in Chantilly, Virginia.

Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance to the team27s System Engineers and DevelopersProvide status updates to contract PMO and government staff leadAssist in completing monthly Program Management Review (PMR) chartsRepresent the team at staff meetings, requirements meetings, tech lead meetings, and TEMsRepresent the team at community wide working groups and coordinate the sponsor27s response to action itemsShepherd new requirements thru the sponsor27s requirements process / pipelineEnsure designs are compatible with the architecture and security requirementsWork with the team27s security engineer to address/mitigate security findings stemming from system security scansPrepare communications for upcoming releasesWork with the government staff lead and project team lead to prioritize workWork with all Cloud Service Providers to meet their PKI requirementsResearch new technologies / products that will help increase the overall Authentication security posture for sponsor systems

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Significant experience with System Architecture and Engineering
Familiarity with the sponsor27s enterprise systems
Working knowledge of PKI Certificates
Significant experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Microsoft, Google, and/or Oracle)
Strong, hands-on experience with Linux (CLI)
Experience with scripting and programming languages like BASH and Python
Experience in working on teams utilizing Agile workflows and processes
Experience with Jira

Desired Qualifications

Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and understand key concepts like digital certificates, Certificate Authorities (CAs), Registration Authorities (RAs), key management practices, cryptographic algorithms, certificate revocation procedures, and trust chains
Experience working with CloudFormation / Puppet / Groovy, or other configuration and automation tools
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL / MariaDB, Oracle)
Experience with Jenkins
Experience with containers
