Systems Analyst (On-Site, Muscatine, IA.)

Responsible for the design of secure and highly available compute platforms, servers, and networks. Either fully or partly designs, maintains, upgrades, and continuously improves the companies service environment depending on the service delivery model. Maintains ongoing reliability, performance and support of the infrastructure services.

Focus on development, implementation, and management of overlapping Business Systems to best meet the needs and requests of production, safety, quality, and maintenance areas. Optimize technology capabilities to increase Manufacturing efficiencies, while aligning with Ruveon security, compliance, and governance standards. The Systems Analyst identifies organizational needs and translates those needs into requirements for a digital deliverable. The Systems Analyst configures off the shelf software or develops custom software to meet business requirements and creates methods to extract and analyze data from a variety of systems and applications using tools and technologies defined by company best practices.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, implement, and support hybrid infrastructure environments spanning on-premises and cloud platforms
• Participate in cloud migration initiatives and modernization efforts involving applications, databases, storage, and manufacturing systems
• Evaluate and implement solutions leveraging Azure, Azure Local, virtualization platforms, and edge computing technologies
• Develop long-term infrastructure roadmaps that improve security, resiliency, scalability, and operational efficiency
• Identify opportunities to automate business and operational processes using AI, workflow automation, and low-code/no-code technologies
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to transform manual processes into automated digital workflows
• Design, develop, and support AI-enabled solutions that improve process performance, decision making, and data accessibility
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and develop practical use cases aligned with business objectives
• Develop relationships within site Business Units and act as the primary contact within the IT Department and Business Units for support, maintenance, and problem management of systems within his/her area of responsibility
• May participate in cross-functional teams responsible for implementing business objectives using new or existing systems
• Understanding and documenting processes, as well as act as project manager during the design, development (of end user tools), cost, testing, implementation, training, and communication of new systems and processes
• Ensure systems and solutions meet business requirements and drive user adoption
• Participate in system design reviews, capacity planning, and technology evaluations
• Develop and lead lifecycle management strategies for systems in his/her area of responsibility
• Provide documentation, quality assurance, and ensure adequate internal controls related to systems and processes within his/her area of responsibility
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and architectural diagrams
• Support development and continuous improvement through participation in site and corporate initiatives and committees (includes Six Sigma / LEAN)

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or High School Diploma/GED with 7 years of related technical experience.
• Experience with modern software development practices and languages such as C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, or similar technologies
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure
• Experience designing integrations using APIs, middleware, and messaging technologies
• Experience with AI, workflow automation, analytics, and business intelligence platforms
• Experience developing, integrating, and supporting business applications, data platforms, and workflow automation solutions utilizing modern software development practices
• Experience with supporting Windows and Linux Server environments, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and application infrastructure
• Microsoft Visual Studio / .NET programming
• Knowledge or experience in some form of software programming (C, C#, VB, Java, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of manufacturing technologies including PLCs, DCS, SCADA, MES, data historians, or industrial data systems
• Familiarity with virtualization, server administration, networking concepts, and infrastructure architecture
• Writing and optimizing SQL queries or stored procedures/packages
• Experience creating Microsoft SharePoint, Power Automate, or Power Apps solutions
• Working knowledge of middleware solutions and data warehousing
• Experience developing or configuring workflow enabled applications
• Experience in manufacturing environment

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $ 90,480.00 - $135,720.00per year. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
