Summary

You will serve as a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist in the Digital Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Branch of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.

This position is equivalent to the GS-13/14 level. The full performance level is equivalent to the GS-13/14 level

Duties

Help

  • You will serve as the Supervisory Information Technology (IT) Specialist (Competency Branch Head) and first-line supervisor within the Digital Transformation Division.
  • You will focus on IT personnel management and ensure the long-term technical health, capability, and readiness of the IT workforce.
  • You will manage and supervise IT professionals of varying disciplines and grade levels, leading a diverse workforce that provides enterprise digital infrastructure and IT logistics support to the Fleet.
  • You will assign work to subordinates based on strategic IT priorities and Agile tasking frameworks considering the complexity of technical infrastructure and security.
  • You will be responsible for staffing and recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and performance and quality improvement.

  • This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code (801), proficiency level (advanced) the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11/12 grade level or NT-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing technical projects, digital workflows, or modern operational environments; leading teams, workload distribution, and talent development; and executing programs, including product delivery, resource allocation, and technical competency support.
