Full Job Description
As a Supply Planner, you will align supply/demand, manage constraints and ensure product flow from global manufacturing into Bio-rad's distribution network as part of the Global Supply Chain Planning team for Finished Goods. The role focuses on efficiently delivering goods by determining required products, quantities, and locations to meet demand, aiming to minimize shortages and costs. Key responsibilities include supporting S&OE (revenue recognition efforts), collaborating cross-functionally in reducing aging back orders, and improving the overall customer experience while achieving the highest possible On Time In Full (OTIF) service performance. Develop, implement and manage allocation strategies for products in limited supply, when necessary, working closely with Customers Service, Sales, Demand Planning and Operations.

Location: This position must be based in Irvine, California and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

How You'll Make An Impact:

  • Align global supply and demand by developing and executing finished goods supply plans that ensure the right products are available in the right locations to support customer demand and revenue recognition.
  • Manage supply constraints and product allocations by partnering with Customer Service, Sales, Demand Planning, and Operations to reduce backorders and protect OTIF performance.
  • Utilize SAP and Kinaxis to maintain accurate supply plans, providing visibility into inventory, supply availability, and fulfillment timelines across the distribution network.
  • Optimize replenishment strategies and safety stock levels to balance service levels with inventory efficiency, minimizing shortages, excess, and obsolete stock.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify supply or demand risks early and implement mitigation plans that improve customer experience and product availability.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Management, or other related field.
  • 0-3+ years' experience in supply planning, inventory management or manufacturing operations within an ERP/DRP environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills with advance working knowledge in Windows Office environment.
  • Results oriented self-starter with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Knowledge of planning systems - SAP (preferred), Kinaxis (preferred).

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $77,600 - $106,700 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
