Job DescriptionSpear D Construction is seeking an experienced and motivated
Superintendent to oversee field operations and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This role serves as the key link between the field and office, coordinating crews, materials, and subcontractors to maintain quality and productivity on all projects.
Job Responsibilities- Oversee daily field operations and jobsite activities
- Ensure crews, materials, equipment, and subcontractors are ready before work begins
- Maintain project schedules and provide regular updates
- Coordinate with Project Managers, field teams, and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and company policies
- Monitor jobsite quality and ensure work meets plans and specifications
- Maintain jobsite documentation, reports, and communication logs
- Conduct and participate in project meetings (pre-construction, scheduling, and progress meetings)
- Track project progress and maintain a 2-week outlook for upcoming work
- Manage project closeout, including testing and final documentation
Qualifications- 3+ years of experience in construction field supervision or superintendent role
- Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and codes
- Proven ability to lead crews and coordinate multiple jobsite activities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
