We are seeking a Structural Designer for a hybrid assignment in Tempe, Arizona. The selected candidate will be part of a fast-paced team focused on designing Advanced Facilities such as semiconductor manufacturing plants, data centers and similar state of the art manufacturing facilities.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
This position requires experience with Revit
Responsibilities
- Develop 3D structural models based on verbal instructions or rough sketches
- Produce complete sets of structural plans and details
- Review models and documents for quality and compliance
- Verify completeness and accuracy of own work
- Provide leadership for small packages and guide a small team of designers
- Coordinate team tasks, balance workloads and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are obtained
- Ensure quality standards including clash adjudicated design
- Take ownership of internal reviews and lead cross-discipline and external package reviews
- Attend meetings and actively help resolve concerns and solve problems
- Apply department and client standards consistently across models and documents
- Take full ownership of assigned scope and meet schedule and quality requirements
- Coordinate design efforts with related disciplines
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years drafting/design experience in the Structural field
- 3+ years of experience with Revit
- Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam is highly preferred
