Overview:

Evaluate and comment on discipline engineering work performed both internally and by Contractors and sub-contractors to ensure that work is being executed in accordance with Company specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements. Facilitates effective execution of discipline engineering and design routines that align with the team's goals, objectives, and procedures. Assures accurate and timely communication among the team and other company Functions on discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues. In addition to technical ability, they should demonstrate sound communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

Required Skills:

• Extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
• Ability to conduct monthly facilities surveillance of area driven KPIs
• Comfortable working in a team with other Facilities engineers, Site Contact & Lead Engineers to support assigned operations area and gain knowledge/exposure to other areas of the plant
• Experience with providing shutdown support
• Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in engineering design issues
• Proven ability to perform field visits for data collection and operational assessments
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with operations and construction teams
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Nice to Have Skills:

• Knowledge of industry standards and safety protocols in oil and gas facilities
• Familiarity with project management tools and software
• Experience with design modifications and process optimization

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in the oil & gas industry, with a focus on facilities or plant engineering

Other Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and personal transportation (or acceptability of provided allowances)
• Ability to commit to a 6-month initial contract with potential for extension
