What You'll Bring:
- Strong skills in safety program development and implementation
- Ability to analyze safety data and develop performance metrics
- Excellent communication skills to create safety training and outreach plans
- Experience coordinating safety activities for construction or industrial projects
- Proficiency with safety hardware, software systems, and data analysis tools
- Demonstrated ability to review and develop safety plans and risk assessments
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience working directly with contractors and subcontractors
- Expertise in waste management, industrial hygiene, or environmental compliance
- Proven track record designing safety incentive programs
- Knowledge of the GSA mileage reimbursement process
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field preferred
- Prior experience in construction safety or similar roles is highly beneficial
- Familiarity with safety standards and OSHA regulations
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to utilize a personal vehicle for local travel, with mileage reimbursed at GSA rates
- Willingness to support activities that may require some travel or fieldwork
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple safety initiatives
This 12-month opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate of $50.00, with a Monday through Friday work schedule of 40 hours per week.
