About the Role
Uber Eats is looking for a highly analytical and execution-focused Strategy & Planning Manager to drive growth, efficiency, and strategic initiatives across our marketplace. This is a generalist role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, can zoom out to define strategy, and zoom in to execute with precision.
You will work cross-functionally with Operations, Commercial, Finance, Marketing, and other regional teams to identify opportunities, solve complex problems, and deliver measurable business impact.
What You'll Do
1. Identify, lead and execute high impact projects for key business priorities across the Uber Eats platform
2. Translate ambiguous problems into structured analyses and actionable recommendations
3. Build and maintain data models, dashboards, and business cases to support decision-making
4. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to design, test, and scale new initiatives
5. Support planning cycles (weekly, quarterly, annual) including forecasting, goal-setting, and performance tracking
6. Communicate insights and recommendations to senior leadership with clarity and influence
Basic Qualifications
1. 4+ years of professional experience in management consulting, investment banking, or strategy/ops roles at a high-growth company
2. Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools like Tableau
3. Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
1. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate them into clear insights
2. Experience working in marketplace tech
3. Proficiency in Python, R and similar tools
4. Proficiency within AI tools with experience utilizing for data automation, business planning and more
5. MBA or Masters degree preferred

For Canada-based roles: The base salary range for this role is CAD$95,500 per year - CAD$106,250 per year.
