Position Summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Platform Engineering & Delivery team supporting private cloud infrastructure. As a Storage Architect, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining storage solutions that ensure high reliability, availability, and efficiency. Your contributions will enable our organization to deliver robust services internally and externally, supporting critical business operations across industry-standard NAS and SAN platforms. The position involves technical leadership across a distributed virtualized environment, supporting key projects and operational tasks to uphold infrastructure integrity in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation and support of new storage and infrastructure technologies within the enterprise environment.
  • Collaborate on key project deliverables to ensure successful deployment and integration of infrastructure solutions.
  • Maintain the stability and performance of storage and virtualization environments.
  • Coordinate and support system maintenance activities, including release updates, upgrades, and technology deployments, following standard change management protocols.
  • Manage complex project installations efficiently within tight timelines and budget constraints.
  • Develop and deliver performance metrics and reports to inform management decisions.
  • Execute performance and statistical monitoring to develop and refine operational procedures, enhancing overall environment health.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new features and product technologies, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
  • Incorporate risk and control processes into daily responsibilities to monitor, mitigate, and escalate issues as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
  • At least 4 years of related experience in storage and infrastructure environments.
  • Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in supporting enterprise storage solutions, virtualization, and infrastructure management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • In-depth working knowledge of NetApp OnTap 9.x, focusing on NFS, CIFS, and S3 protocols.
  • Experience with NetApp SnapMirror replication for disaster recovery scenarios.
  • Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
