Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Systems Integration Advisor to lead and participate in high-level technical initiatives spanning technology and business. This role focuses on designing, implementing, testing, and supporting complex infrastructure systems and solutions, with an emphasis on virtualization, server infrastructure, automation, cloud security, and infrastructure modernization. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving capabilities, and experience working collaboratively across technology teams in complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead or participate in high-level technical initiatives spanning technology and business requirements.
• Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems and design and test technical solutions.
• Contribute to testing business, application, and technical infrastructure requirements.
• Drive solutions designed to improve recovery and resilience.
• Review and analyze solutions related to cloud security, secrets management, and key rotation.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document programs using Agile development practices.
• Design and implement complex system upgrades.
• Identify and resolve emerging technical issues and troublesome trends.
• Develop long-range plans to resolve recurring problems and improve infrastructure reliability.
• Support daily risk and control activities, with a focus on policies, procedures, and work standards.
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve technical issues and achieve business and technology objectives.
• Support the design, evaluation, and implementation of complex infrastructure hosting solutions and capabilities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams where appropriate.
• Support infrastructure product roadmap planning and feature or backlog prioritization.
• Help remediate complex technical support issues across infrastructure environments.

Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through work experience, training, education, or other relevant background.
• 5+ years of experience with distributed infrastructure and/or related IT infrastructure.
• 5+ years of experience working with virtualization, server infrastructure, and converged or hyper-converged hosting technologies.
• Experience with virtualization and virtual hosting technologies and administration.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting using technologies such as Python, Ansible, or PowerShell.
• Experience working with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience integrating infrastructure solutions with APIs.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure engineering technologies and practices.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code delivery and management.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple concurrent projects.
• Ability to operate effectively within geographically distributed teams.
• Customer-focused and service-oriented approach to technical delivery.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with hypervisors and virtualization platforms such as VMware and Nutanix.
• Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• Experience with VMware Aria/VRA, Nutanix Calm, or comparable automation platforms.
• Experience leading or supporting complex infrastructure hosting solution design, evaluation, and implementation.
• Experience working in Agile product teams within complex or highly regulated enterprise environments.
• Experience with converged and hyper-converged infrastructure solutions at enterprise scale.
• Experience mentoring engineering teams and supporting technical capability development.
• Experience taking infrastructure software, hardware, or services from inception through customer delivery.
• Experience managing infrastructure functions within a product model, including product roadmap planning and feature or backlog prioritization.
• Familiarity with cloud hosting concepts and operating models.
• Advanced knowledge of infrastructure engineering technologies.
• Experience developing and implementing long-term solutions to complex technical problems.
