We're looking for a Statistical Programmer Analyst for an onsite role in Columbia, SC.Work Authorization: U.S. citizens and Green Card holders only. Sponsorship is not available for this role; no C2C or third-party candidates. Candidates must be able to work on our W2.
Skills & Qualifications:- 6 years of experience in statistical programming or statistical interpretation
- Preferred: 8 years of experience with statistical practices and 5 years of statistical software and relational database experience
- Extensive programming skills using cloud-based data platforms like Snowflake or Databricks
- Experience with data visualization/dashboard tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Proficient in data management and analysis using Python and SAS
- Self-driven and adaptable, with a desire to stay current with evolving tools
- Team leadership skills
- Ability to make complex data understandable for any audience
- Decisive when faced with ambiguity
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the transition of SAS programs to Python on the on-premises data warehouse
- Produce routine and ad hoc reports, primarily in Excel
- Respond to questions and provide training when weaknesses are identified
- Collaborate with a team of statistical analysts to translate analytics into actionable guidance
- Engage in mentorship and contribute to a data-driven workplace culture
Education/Certifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics/Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other job-related field
- Master's degree preferred
The hourly rate for this position is $55.00.
