Full Job Description
We're seeking a Staff Product Manager to own SEO across traditional and agentic search platforms. This role will drive the end-to-end SEO product development lifecycle for the fastest growing website in real estate - Compass.com - including setting strategic vision, roadmap execution, organizational evangelism, and success frameworks. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, operates seamlessly between tactical details and executive storytelling, and has an insatiable growth mindset.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute on the product strategy and roadmap for organic growth, leading the full SEO product lifecycle from ideation through development to launch
  • Maintain SEO hygiene and champion search-first architecture across partner engineering teams on consumer experience, data, and security
  • Lead quarterly and ongoing planning processes in partnership with engineering, ensuring alignment on priorities and delivery goals
  • Establish success metrics and robust analytical capabilities to guide efforts with data driven and competitive insights
  • Serve as our in-house subject matter expert on all things search, from the nuances of Google's algorithm to growth opportunities in agentic platforms like ChatGPT

Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of SEO product management experience on a large-scale consumer marketplace
  • Strong technical foundation, with the ability to work closely with engineers
  • Experience working across multiple teams and stakeholders to deliver results
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts
  • Ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and drive outcomes in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate ambiguous challenges into structured, executable plans

Compensation: The base pay range for this position is $189,000-$210,600; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location. Minimum wage for the position will always be met.
