What you'll do

Docusign is looking for a self-motivated Sr. SaaS Engineer to help us build, maintain, and rationalize our internal SaaS ecosystem. This role will involve day-to-day management of SaaS applications critical to our business, enforcing vendor management and SaaS policies, and working with business stakeholders to maximize the value delivery of their SaaS portfolios. This role will lead the architecture, governance, and optimization of enterprise collaboration and productivity platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and alignment with business objectives. You'll be joining our Cloud Applications team which comprises system engineers and administrators responsible for overall SaaS service ownership and strategy.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Cloud Apps.

Responsibility
  • Partner with business stakeholders to architect, implement, configure and maintain corporate SaaS applications like Google Workspace, Okta, Microsoft Office 365, Slack, Lucidchart and others
  • Deploy and maintain cloud-based applications, systems, and associated cloud infrastructure
  • Help define our SaaS service blueprint and establish a cross-functional intake, management, and support model
  • Build critical trust and relationships with business and technical stakeholders
  • Orchestrate and automate key cloud-based business platforms throughout the company
  • Define and evangelize new productivity and collaboration patterns to support a hybrid working environment
  • Maintain a security-first approach to development, configuration, and administration


Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic
  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree; or 5+ years of related experience with a Master's degree in Computer Science or related degree
  • Experience architecting end to end collaboration and productivity solutions
  • Experience deploying, administering, and supporting and migrating between SaaS applications and platforms in an enterprise environment
  • Experience with Google Workspace at an SME/Admin level (ie. core applications, security tools, and identity management)
  • Experience with Okta at an Admin-level including SAML/OIDC authentication, custom apps, SCIM provisioning, Attribute mapping, Okta Authentication rules, Global Session Timeout, Authentication Servers
  • Experience with enterprise collaboration and communication platforms such as Slack, Box, SendGrid, Lucidchart, and related SaaS tools
  • Experience with one of the programming or scripting languages, such as Python and Powershell
  • Experience using REST APIs to integrate standalone SaaS applications into a broad architecture landscape
  • Experience building lightweight business applications Google Workspace, Google Apps Script and AppSheet
  • Experience communicating and collaborating with cross-functional teams for different projects
  • Experience with Scrum, Agile and continuous integration and continuous deployment practices
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Office 365 at an Admin-level

Preferred
  • Experience evaluating and implementing AI-powered productivity, automation, and workflow solutions within enterprise SaaS environments, including GenAI and agentic workflows
  • Experience working with identity and access management including unified profiles and role based access control
  • Experience in implementing data/apps/workflows with other SaaS systems
  • Experience building custom APIs and RESTful services
  • Proven experience with common cloud infrastructure platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Self starter with ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks with minimal direction or supervision
  • Strong team player willing to take responsibility, accountability and ownership
  • Project management experience (handling projects and org wide application updates)
  • Strong decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities in complex environments

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $132,700.00 - $206,800.00 base salary

Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $126,500.00 - $182,500.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:
  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
