Job Description

The Program Contracts Senior Manager will support the management and contractual day to day activities of the program under the supervision of the program director. The Senior Program Manager scope includes planning, tracking, and managing contractual correspondence, baseline change management, documentation, proposal approvals, negotiations, and other ad hoc.

The Senior Program Manager has primary responsibility for change management and proposal submission to include fee assertion, and self-assessment of incentive/award fee bearing contracts. As a liaison with Honeywell finance, the Senior Program Manager is responsible for contract deliverable reports provided to the customer as it relates to funding requirements and estimates to complete. This customer facing leader will need to act with limited oversight representing Honeywell through front end contract award as well as throughout program execution.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and implement contracts strategies and policies to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure contract compliance and resolve any issues
• Review, interpret, and analyze contract terms and conditions for FAR 12 and FAR 15 type government contracts
• Monitor contract performance against defined scope and identify areas for assertion
• Participate in regular program reviews, customer meetings, monthly reporting, and risk and opportunity management
• Coordinating approvals for key change efforts
• Assist in the drafting and review of contractual briefs, change assertions, and negotiation support
• Support to EAC / EVMS variance analysis and if required get to green initiatives
• Coordination with HON Law & Contracts for terms review, approvals, and ad hoc L&C inputs as required
• Intra company work efforts
• Customer monthly funds status reporting
• Risk and opportunity management

  • 10 years of Government Contract Experience

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

The annual base salary range for this position is $190,000- $240,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
