Do you have experience leading the deployment of specialized AI and GPU clusters, ensuring the facility's power and cooling systems are optimized for high-density AI compute environments?

Well we are seeking a Senior Program Manager for Data Center Solutions at CBRE. This is a leadership role responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex, high-density data center construction projects. This position specifically requires expertise in scaling infrastructure for AI workloads and GPU clusters (e.g., NVIDIA or AMD) within hyperscale environments.
Senior Program Manager - GPU & AI Infrastructure Deployments (AMS)
Role Purpose

The Senior Program Manager - GPU & AI Infrastructure Deployments is responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of high-density compute and AI infrastructure deployments across the Americas (AMS) region. This is an external-facing role that works closely with Sales and customers to shape opportunities, initiate projects, and deliver complex GPU and accelerator deployments at scale. The role bridges technical fluency in modern AI hardware with disciplined project execution, ensuring deployments are safely executed, technically correct, and repeatable.
Primary Responsibilities

Project & Program Leadership

- Lead multiple concurrent GPU and AI infrastructure deployment projects from pursuit support through project closeout.

- Partner with Sales during pre-award and early engagement phases to shape scope, assumptions, timelines, and delivery models.

- Serve as the primary project interface for customers, ensuring clear communication, expectation management, and execution confidence.

- Establish and manage project plans, milestones, risk registers, change control, and delivery governance.

Technical Delivery Oversight

- Provide hands-on leadership for deployments involving GPUs, accelerators, and high-density compute infrastructure.

- Translate design documentation into executable field plans, with accountability for interconnection quality, sequencing, and validation.

- Oversee rack integration, structured cabling, fiber and MPO connectivity, labeling, port mapping, validation, and turnover readiness.

- Ensure deployments align with OEM requirements and non-standard or bespoke architectures as required.

Onsite Team & Vendor Leadership

- Stand up and lead onsite deployment teams across AMS markets, including internal resources and qualified partners.

- Ensure adequate staffing coverage, field leadership presence, and safe execution during intensive deployment windows.

- Enforce quality control checkpoints and in-flight validation to prevent downstream errors or rework.

Quality, Safety & Risk Management

- Ensure all work is executed in accordance with CBRE safety standards and site-specific requirements.

- Partner with safety and technical teams to complete Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), risk reviews, and method validations.

- Maintain disciplined documentation, asset tracking, and turnover packages suitable for customer acceptance.

Business & Relationship Development

- Support growth of GPU and AI deployment services by contributing practical delivery insight during pursuits and customer discussions.

- Build trusted relationships with customers, OEMs, internal stakeholders, and delivery partners.

- Identify opportunities to standardize, industrialize, and improve deployment models as demand scales.
Required Technical Knowledge

- Strong working knowledge of GPU and AI compute platforms, including:
• NVIDIA GPU-based systems and architectures
• AMD GPU-based systems and high-density compute environments
• Google TPU-based accelerator platforms

- Understanding of high-density rack builds, power and thermal considerations, and interconnect complexity.

- Familiarity with structured cabling, fiber (including MPO), transceivers, network connectivity, and validation practices.

- Ability to engage credibly with customer technical teams and OEM representatives.
Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Information Technology, or related discipline preferred.

- 8+ years of experience leading complex technical projects, preferably in data center, IT infrastructure, or high-density compute environments.

- Proven experience managing field execution teams and delivering technically complex deployments on tight timelines.

- Strong customer-facing skills with experience partnering with Sales and business development teams.

- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
Success Measures

- Projects delivered on time and within agreed scope and assumptions.

- High-quality deployments with minimal rework or post-install defects.

- Strong customer satisfaction and repeat engagement.

- Demonstrated ability to scale delivery models as volume increases.
Reporting & Travel

- Role is based in the AMS region with regular travel to active deployment sites.

- Reports into the Americas project delivery organization with close alignment to Sales and technical leadership.
