THE ROLE:

As a key member of the Global HR Business Partner team, the Sr. HR Generalist will play a vital role in supporting the Corporate & Commercial HRBP function. This position partners closely with business leaders, interested parties, and HR COE’s to help implement and embed HR strategies that align with both corporate and functional objectives. Acting as a key conduit across all levels of the organization, this position will help ensure HR initiatives are effectively communicated and delivered, directly supplying to the achievement of business goals and fostering a culture of organizational success.

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:

 

•    Support HR Initiatives: Assist the Corporate & Commercial HR team in implementing HR programs and processes, including performance management, talent reviews, employee engagement, promotions, succession planning, employee development, organizational change efforts, and other initiatives that come up throughout the year.

 

•    HR Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate HR data, prepare regular reports, and support data-driven decision-making by gathering and analyzing workforce metrics.

•    Compliance & Policy Administration: Ensure HR practices comply with company policies and relevant employment laws; assist with audits and documentation as required.

•    Talent Acquisition Support: Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to facilitate recruitment processes and support candidate experience, ensuring a smooth transition from internal headcount meetings to the positions being posted to onboarding.

•    Learning & Development: Help coordinate learning and development programs, track participation, and gather feedback to support a culture of continuous growth.

•    Project Support: Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.

•    Culture & Engagement: Assist in organizing employee engagement, DEI, and recognition programs to foster an inclusive and positive work environment.

 

•    Onboarding and Offboarding: Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires and departing employees.

 

•    Collaboration & Communication: Assist the Sr. Manager in cultivating strong relationships with internal interested parties by facilitating regular touchpoints, gathering feedback, and ensuring consistent follow-through on HR-related matters. Support cross-functional collaboration by coordinating meetings, preparing communication materials, and helping translate strategic HR goals into actionable steps for business units.

 

•    Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and basic employee relations issues, raising complex matters to the Sr. Manager and ER team as needed.

 

•    General HR Administration: Provide day-to-day HR administrative support, including maintaining employee records, preparing communications, and supporting HR-related inquiries.

 

•    Other: Additional duties as assigned.

•    4+ years of progressive HR experience as a generalist or another function within HR focusing on engaging with large, global, cross-functional teams•    Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, capable of interacting with all employee levels•    Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including California labor laws•    Strong communication skills and a servant leadership mentality•    Proactive and innovative mentality, capable of making significant contributions to strategic HR initiatives•    Ability to navigate challenging employee situations, and handle sensitive conversations with confidentiality and integrity•    Successful project management, including transformation and change management experience

Education

•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field, or 4 additional years of HR experience in lieu of a degree
