Overview

ROLE AT A GLANCE: The Manager, Strategic Planning will provide assistance in planning and directing the organization's strategic and long-range goals. The primary responsibility is to help develop and implement strategic projects using financial and data analysis, help develop recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency, and assist with the annual corporate 5-year planning process. Other requirements include helping to develop business plans that support and introduce solutions for strategic issues that impact Herbalife by conducting organizational reviews to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities and to evaluate operational efficiency and provide Corporate Development. The Manager will work in small teams with colleagues and international regions to build the strategies, capabilities, systems, and processes needed to deliver bottom-line results and ensure those results will be sustained.

The function will focus on coaching others to achieve success in implementing innovative approaches and delivering regional and functional strategic plans. This position will have the chance to lead projects and progress with minimal direction, including tracking metrics, handling complex analyses, and preparing communications to report back to client and internal leadership. Additionally, the role will develop practical recommendations and contribute to team discussions on implications of analysis and identifying implementation challenges.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT: •    Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, recommend strategies for augmenting short- and long-term business growth, perform market analysis, write business plans and track industry trends that could affect company efficiency, expansion and profitability•    Assist in leading the strategic planning process in the regions•    Identify and utilize quantitative tools that measure the efficiency of strategic and operation initiatives•    Identify financial risks, return on investment of new country openings and investment opportunities•    Identify trends and work with cross-functional teams to help validate efficacy of new products and services in the nutrition space•    Monitor and communicate market trends to internal partners, reporting competitor shifts in the general marketplace and direct selling industry and identify external factors influencing growth opportunities•    Additional duties as assigned.
