Summary of PositionThe position of
Sr. Financial Analyst, FP&A, Category Profitability - SharkNinja within FP&A will be responsible for working with Finance leadership and cross-functional departments in the business. The primary responsibilities will include supporting the SharkNinja Category teams, working closely with our Product Development, Marketing, Commercialization, SS&A, and Engineering teams. This position will act as a financial business partner, providing P&L insights and reporting at the Category level, in-depth margin analysis, and leading cost optimization efforts for a subset of Shark & Ninja categories. Reporting to the
Director of Category Finance, this position is part of a dynamic team that works in a fast-paced environment, where keen attention to detail and an ability to partner with the business is crucial to success.
Essential FunctionsCategory P&L Management- Prepare and maintain Category P&Ls across assigned Shark & Ninja categories.
- Review P&Ls for accuracy and work with input owners to resolve discrepancies.
- Drive process efficiencies to reduce P&L cycle time and improve data quality.
- Support NPD governance and margin expansion insights and reporting.
Reporting & Analytics- Prepare monthly financial review packages for assigned categories.
- Support SKU, category and regional level reporting
- Build analysis and presentations that translate complex data into clear business insights.
- Assist with scenario analyses and ad hoc financial modeling as needed.
Cross-Functional Partnership- Partner with Category, Marketing, Product Development, and SS&A teams on financial inputs and business questions.
- Support pricing and assortment analysis in partnership with commercial teams.
- Collaborate with FP&A colleagues to ensure consistency across financial models and outputs.
- Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience- Bachelor's degree required in a Finance or Accounting field.
- Minimum of 3-6 years of relevant work experience in Finance/Accounting.
- Previous experience with budgeting and analysis is preferred.
- Objective oriented with a strong emphasis on business partnership and continuous improvement.
- Effective communication and social skills, proven ability to partner cross-functionally.
- Proven analytical and organizational skills, with strong accountability.
- Demonstrated ability to work on competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with building AI modeling a plus.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills required, especially the need to have exceptional modeling skills in Excel.

Pay Range
$69,400-$120,000 USD
