Sr. Facilities Operations Specialist

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Facilities Operations Specialist to join our Operations & Facilities Team in Albany, NY. In this role, you'll play a critical part in managing day-to-day operations across our office portfolio-supporting vendors, overseeing budgets and tracking systems, and contributing to high-impact initiatives that enhance how our workplace functions and evolves.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of real estate activities, including lease reviews, office buildouts, renovations, and budget tracking
  • Serve as a key point of contact for vendors, managing office equipment, furniture, and service relationships
  • Maintain and enhance facilities policies, procedures, and operational documentation
  • Track and report on key facilities metrics, budgets, and operation performance
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and drive cost savings
  • Support company-wide efforts such as M&A integration, sustainability programs, and facility-related initiatives


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field required
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in facilities or commercial real estate portfolio management required
  • Experience supporting capital projects or multi-site facilities operations environments required
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and vendors
  • Strong planning, organization, and project management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; experience with Autodesk CAD software for space planning and layouts strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of budget planning and tracking strongly preferred
  • Experience in the professional services industry is preferred
  • General knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, etc.) and code compliance preferred with the ability to read and interpret floor plans and construction documents
  • Familiarity with scheduling or project tracking tools (i.e. Microsoft Project) preferred

Salary Range:

$85,000 - $95,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
