What you'll doLead the definition and execution of Docusign's product strategy. Build the Product Operations function, systems, processes, tools, and discipline, that enables faster, better-informed decisions and cross-functional alignment. Use automation and AI strategically to eliminate manual work, surface insights, and keep teams moving at velocity.
This position is a people manager role reporting to the Vice President, Product.
Responsibility- Partner with CPO to define Docusign's product strategy and translate strategic priorities (agreement journey enablement, solution adoption, enterprise/global expansion) into quarterly OKRs and product roadmap
- Facilitate alignment across product teams and cross-functional partners (Sales, CS, Support, Finance) on shared priorities, trade-offs, and KPIs
- Own communication of strategy and progress upward to executive leadership and across the organization
- Build transparent systems for decision-making and resource allocation
- Build and scale Product Ops function (team structure, tools, processes) to support faster iteration and cross-functional alignment
- Establish clear product prioritization frameworks and decision-support processes, and own quarterly planning and roadmap development cycles
- Drive adoption of product management discipline, methodologies, and best practices across all product teams
- Create operational cadence for product leadership (reviews, steering, alignment) that keeps teams moving in sync
- Establish product analytics strategy, instrumentation standards, and reporting frameworks
- Create cohort analysis, adoption tracking, and customer health dashboards to inform prioritization
- Enable product teams to self-serve analytics and run experiments with velocity
- Define and track leading indicators of product-market fit and customer success
- Identify high-impact opportunities to automate routine work and streamline processes (analytics aggregation, reporting, stakeholder communication, etc.)
- Evaluate and implement tools-including AI where appropriate-to reduce manual effort and surface insights faster
- Build internal dashboards and self-service capabilities to democratize product data
- Establish repeatable processes to measure and iterate on operational efficiency gains

What you bringBasic- 10+ years in product management, strategy, operations, or adjacent leadership roles
- Experience building or scaling Product Operations function from scratch
- Experience defining strategy and driving cross-functional execution and alignment
- Experience with analytics tools, experimentation, and product telemetry (event tracking, cohort analysis, etc.)
- Experience using data and automation to improve organizational velocity and decision quality
Preferred- SaaS, B2B enterprise experience
- Excellent communication and cross-functional influence skills, especially with executive leadership
- Ability to balance detail orientation with big-picture strategic thinking
- Experience with e-signature, contract management, or agreement lifecycle software
- Familiarity with product analytics platforms (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Looker, etc.) and experimentation tools
- Track record in global, multi-segment product organizations
- Background in Operations, Finance, or Business Analytics
Wage TransparencyPay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $212,100.00 - $342,650.00 base salary
Washington: $202,100.00 - $299,625.00 base salary
This role is also eligible for the following:
- Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
- Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
