Job Summary

As a Senior Director in the Identity Field Technology office, you will lead our global Technical Sales strategy for Palo Alto Networks' identity solutions. You will work directly with customers, partners, and internal teams to construct compelling solutions, strengthen our thought leadership, and drive our technical go-to-market strategy. This role requires spending significant time in direct interactions with customer and prospect leaders to inspire confidence in our market leadership, with a regional focus on the US West.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with technical stakeholders at our most strategic customers and partners, leading co-innovation projects.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, identifying industry trends and technical gaps to inform product management and prioritization.
  • Drive repeatability by creating technical selling assets like executive briefing materials, use cases, and demonstration guidance.
  • Collaborate with go-to-market teams to prioritize industry-specific capabilities and drive our winning strategy into the market.
  • Partner with pre-sales and GTM leadership to scale winning motions by enabling the SE and business teams, particularly in the US West.
  • Identify, recruit, and map potential ISV partners and marketplace providers to target reference architectures and use cases.
  • Enable the technical sales team on industry trends, solution offerings, and lead EBC technical and roadmap discussions.
  • Contribute to industry marketing activities such as webinars, conferences, and blogs.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience.
  • Deep experience in identity and access management, privileged access management, and machine identity security.
  • Varied skillset in a leadership capacity across professional services, technical sales, field sales, or as a strategic overlay focusing on large, complex customers.
  • Proven experience as a dynamic presenter, with the ability to tailor communication to C-level and technical audiences.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Idira (CyberArk) technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to be geo-savvy and creative in a global role with a regional focus.
  • Experience leading technical go-to-market (GTM) strategy and execution.
  • A well-rounded technologist with a passion for the positive impact of ever-changing technology.


Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
