The Senior Director, Corporate Network & Infrastructure will play a critical role in modernizing Visa's global corporate network and infrastructure platforms-driving reliability, security, and performance while enabling hybrid work, cloud adoption, and digital-first business operations.

Key Focus Areas:

The ideal candidate will be passionate about:
  • Enterprise resilience and availability at global scale - designing and running services that are reliable, secure, and easy to operate.
  • Modernization and simplification - shifting toward software-defined, automated, and cloud-integrated network and infrastructure capabilities.
  • Operational excellence - strong incident, problem, change, and capacity management with measurable outcomes.
  • Security and risk-by-design - embedding controls, compliance, and cyber resiliency into architecture and operations.
  • Hybrid work enablement - delivering consistent, high-quality connectivity and infrastructure services for employees everywhere.
  • Data-driven leadership - using telemetry, service health indicators, and customer feedback to prioritize and deliver improvements.
  • Talent and culture - building a high-performing global organization with strong engineering standards and inclusive leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

As a senior leader, you will set strategy, lead execution, and be accountable for outcomes across global corporate network and core infrastructure services.

  • Define and execute the global corporate network and infrastructure strategy aligned to Corporate IT priorities; translate strategy into multi-year roadmaps and quarterly outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify platforms, reduce toil, and increase automation; drive adoption of modern engineering practices and standards.
  • Act like an owner: steward investment decisions, optimize total cost of ownership, and ensure resources are allocated to the highest-value outcomes.

Technology & Architecture Leadership:
  • Serve as a senior technical authority for network and infrastructure platforms; set architecture standards, engineering principles, and guardrails.
  • Partner with enterprise architecture and security teams to ensure designs meet resiliency, performance, and risk requirements.
  • Think big and challenge the status quo by evaluating emerging technologies and patterns that can improve scale, reliability, and customer experience.

Operational Excellence & Reliability:
  • Own service reliability, availability, performance, and capacity; establish service-level objectives and transparent health reporting.
  • Lead major incident and problem management, driving root-cause elimination and continuous improvement; learn from mistakes and improve processes and systems.
  • Deliver seamlessly by strengthening change management discipline, automation, and operational readiness across releases and migrations.

Stakeholder Partnership & Customer Obsession:
  • Obsess about customers: partner with business and technology leaders to understand needs, prioritize initiatives, and deliver outcomes that improve employee productivity.
  • Listen and learn from internal customers and operational teams; convert feedback into actionable improvements and measurable service gains.
  • Build trust-based partnerships across Corporate IT, Cybersecurity, Facilities/Real Estate, and vendor partners.

People Leadership & Culture:
  • Lead, coach, and develop global teams of engineers and architects; create clarity on roles, responsibilities, and accountability.
  • Champion inclusion and diversity; foster psychological safety, encourage constructive debate, and enable each other to succeed.
  • Attract, retain, and grow talent through intentional development, succession planning, and high-performance expectations.
