Job Description:
• 6 years experience as Application Support Analyst with 2 years working in a 24x7 Ability to investigate high priority tickets and provide timely updates to Client.
• Should have good written and Oral communication skills to interact with Onsite and Client.
• Should have good knowledge in SQLs as the project will require scripts to be formed for any data fix or for any utility
• Should have good knowledge in AS400 Cobol Open to work in shifts and provide on call support.
• Willing to work weekends for Product Releases.
• Should be able to support month end or Year-end batches as per the allotted schedule.
Mandatory Skills:
• Working knowledge of Oracle SQL Able to build ad hoc SQL queries.
• Working knowledge of Mainframe AS400 Cobol.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Unitrax unitholder or record keeping system.
• Programming languages required are COBOL CLLE SQL.
• The unitholder or record keeping system runs on IBMi or POWER system.
• Provide support to internal and external technology and business groups.
• Communicate directly with end user clients regarding application and system issues Defect recreation.
• Analyze database logical and physical structures.
• Test stored procedures database functions database triggers.
• Create Query SQL and SEQUEL database views.
• FundSERV experience a strong asset.
• Ad hoc query SQL creation for data analysis which is used for troubleshooting and data correction.
• Debug embedded SQL COBOL ILE programs.
• Recommend modifications to the existing programs and to the AS400 applications.
• Document defect corrections on call support on a rotation schedule.
• Work with team to resolve tickets on priority through defined process and escalation matrix.
• Coordinate with various client stakeholders to provide technical solutions.
• Triage issues and provide short-term and long-term solutions.
• Speak through the solution with Client and provide insights into entire chain of events and plan for resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis and work hands on to guide through the problem and incident management process.
• Coordinate with offshore and other global teams.
• Provide creative solutions to customer problems to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ability to exercise judgment using procedures and practices to determine the appropriate course of action.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Support application Releases and change management functions.
• Provide support for monitoring of applications logs feeds issue tickets.
• Should be able to articulate the problem and provide step by step approach to problem and incident management.
