Job Description

Experian is seeking a Solutions Engineer who combines strong technical depth with exceptional client engagement skills to drive adoption of the Bureau Composer platform. This is a client-facing role at the intersection of solution architecture, AI-enabled decisioning, and revenue enablement.

You will partner directly with clients, sales, and internal teams to design and deliver scalable, data-driven solutions that address complex business challenges across credit, fraud, identity, and decisioning use cases, with particular relevance to financial institutions.

This role owns the solution lifecycle for client engagements, translating business requirements into production-ready solution designs that leverage APIs, microservices, cloud-native platforms, data integration patterns, and AI-enabled workflows. The role requires applied AI experience and the ability to position AI capabilities effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead discovery and requirements sessions with clients to define business objectives, technical requirements, data needs, and solution scope
  • Translate client needs into end-to-end solution designs leveraging APIs, microservices, cloud infrastructure, data integration patterns, and AI-enabled workflows
  • Design and deliver scalable implementations using the Bureau Composer platform, including real-time decisioning workflows and both standard and custom solutions
  • Own the client-facing solution delivery lifecycle including implementation planning, technical design leadership, and cross-functional coordination across engineering, QA, DevOps, compliance, and project teams
  • Conduct technical presentations, demos, and workshops tailored to executive, business, and technical audiences
  • Support deployment, integration, and troubleshooting to enable successful production rollout and ongoing solution optimization
  • Partner with sales and product teams to identify expansion opportunities, support solution strategy, and drive incremental revenue
  • Ensure solutions align with security, compliance, and data governance requirements, including FCRA, FACTA, IAM, explainability, and data protection considerations
  • Build and improve reusable solution patterns, accelerators, and technical playbooks to support scale and consistency across implementations


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Solution Architecture, Technical Consulting, or a similar client-facing technical role
  • Demonstrated AI literacy with practical experience applying AI concepts, automation workflows, or enterprise AI use cases in business solutions
  • Ability to discuss and position AI-enabled capabilities, including LLM-based workflows or intelligent automation, without needing to code or build models directly
  • Strong client interface experience, including leading discovery sessions, presenting technical solutions, and influencing executive and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience designing or supporting API-first, microservices-based, and cloud-enabled solution architectures
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, production-ready solution designs
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a range of audiences
  • Working knowledge of security, data governance, and regulatory requirements including IAM, data protection
  • Experience working with financial institutions or in financial services environments where decisioning, risk, fraud, identity, or compliance considerations are important

Preferred
  • Experience in credit, fraud, identity, decisioning, risk analytics, or related financial services domains
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms and modern data architecture concepts
  • Working knowledge of SQL, data analysis, BI/reporting tools, or troubleshooting techniques used to validate solution performance
  • Experience supporting pre-sales, solution consulting, or post-sales implementation engagements
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, compliance, and go-to-market teams
  • Working knowledge of FCRA, and FACTA regulatory requirements
