Job Description

We are the PAXE team at ServiceNow. In this role you will get to work on Conversational AI Experiences that make it easy for employees and customers to resolve issues fast and get what they need when they need it. We make it easy for customers to resolve issues with an enterprise conversational experience. Virtual Agent uses full context to deliver intelligent & meaningful conversations. Areas of focus in interview: Automation Testing Java and Java Script Selenium

What you get to do in this role:
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation test frameworks to ensure ongoing reliability and efficiency
  • Collect, analyze, and report on quality metrics from test execution to drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate closely with developers to design targeted testing strategies for new features and automate them effectively
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and execute them with a focus on robust automation
  • Partner with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues across applications and development/test environments


Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:
  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
  • 2+ years of experience with technologies relevant to SN and coding skills with high-quality results.
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience working within different automated testing frameworks, including Java, JUnit, Selenium, TestNG and other open-source projects.
  • Experience with the agile methodology for software development teams.
  • Ability to understand several testing techniques (e.g. performance, unit, integration, automated), their strengths and weakness, and ability to use them to best effect - including tracking and addressing of any discovered issues.
  • Ability to use tools (such as IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools) to assist with daily tasks.


For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $106,600 - $165,300, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
