Full Job Description
About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Full-Stack Software Engineer who enjoys solving problems, learning new things, and building software that makes a real impact.

You'll work closely with experienced engineers, Product, and Design to build, test, deploy, and improve our software. You'll have opportunities to work across the stack, learn new technologies, and take ownership of the work you're responsible for.

We're looking for someone who is curious, thoughtful, and proactive - someone who doesn't just complete a ticket, but wants to understand the problem and build the right solution.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain software across the frontend and backend.
  • Develop APIs, backend services, user-facing features, and integrations.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Debug issues and help resolve production problems.
  • Work with databases, AWS, microservices, and CI/CD.
  • Participate in code reviews and learn from other engineers.
  • Work with Product and Design to turn requirements into working software.
  • Contribute to improving reliability, performance, security, and user experience.
  • Use AI tools to improve how you code, test, debug, learn, and solve problems.
  • Take ownership of your work and follow it through from development to production.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-4 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong programming fundamentals and experience building production software.
  • Experience with Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or another modern programming language.
  • Familiarity with databases, APIs, cloud technologies, and modern development practices.
  • Experience primarily in backend or frontend development is absolutely fine - you don't need to be an expert across the entire stack.
  • What matters most is your willingness to learn and grow across the stack. If you have strong fundamentals and the curiosity to expand your skills, we'll help you get there.
  • Someone who enjoys solving problems and figuring things out.
  • Someone who is curious and genuinely enjoys learning new technologies and concepts.
  • Comfortable asking questions, receiving feedback, and learning from others.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • A willingness to take ownership and make progress even when the solution isn't immediately obvious.

Fintech, banking, or payments experience is preferred, but not required.

The Mindset We're Looking For

We're interested in what you do beyond your job description.

Have you built an AI tool? Automated something that was annoying? Experimented with a new technology? Built a side project just because you wanted to see if you could? What has your curiosity led you to build?

It doesn't need to be polished or related to your current job. We want to understand how you learn, experiment, and solve problems.

We believe great engineers don't just complete tickets - they understand the problem, ask why, explore different solutions, and take pride in building things well.

You don't need to know everything. We value people who are curious, willing to learn, and excited to grow.

Be curious. Learn. Build. Improve.
