Responsibilities
Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain systems that enhance privacy across our products, platforms, or services by working closely with design, product, and other cross-functional teams in developing efficient, highly scalable, and secured services using backend service experience. Develop backend systems, services, and/or new features for information-security, compliance, anti-fraud, business governance, and customer service. Develop real-time computing, high concurrency, and scalability engineering practices across all product engineering disciplines. Improve system design and architecture to ensure high stability and performance of the services. Contribute to overall system design and code quality improvement. Improve product quality through bug fixes, performance analysis, and tuning. Grow the team by mentoring interns and junior-level Software Engineers.
Qualifications
Qualifications Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field, and 1 year of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following: Designing and implementing scalable, fault tolerant, distributed, and low latency backend workflow orchestration architecture; Designing and implementing scalable RESTful APIs; Working with cross-functional stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical requirements; Using agile methodology for the entire software development lifecycle; and Writing testable, maintainable, and low latency software using high level programming language, including Golang, Java, Python, or C++. The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $182804 - $316800 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
