We are looking for a forward-thinking Software Engineer who would be responsible for the end-to-end design and delivery for customer value capabilities in US and international markets. You will be hands on in designing the fundamental architecture that powers our web frameworks like content management, search and navigation and web authoring.
What you will be working onWe are looking for a Software Engineer III to help design and build a cloud-native Managed File Transform (MFT) platform that enables secure, scalable, and highly resilient file exchange across internal systems and external partners.
In this role, you will develop distributed, event-driven file processing solutions using modern cloud architectures, containerization, and automation. You will play a key role in shaping a secure, high-performance platform that supports large-scale data movement across several applications.

Responsibilities- Lead onboarding and implementation activities for new applications, business units, external partners, and file owners onto the Managed File Transfer platform.
- Collaborate with application teams, business customers, vendors, and external partners to gather file transfer requirements and design secure transfer solutions.
- Configure and implement file transfer connections using protocols such as SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2,S3, GCP, Connect:Direct, and related technologies.
- Create, configure, test, and deploy new file transfer workflows, routing rules, and delivery profiles within MFT platforms.
- Perform end-to-end onboarding activities including connectivity setup, security configuration, certificate exchange, file validation, and production migration.
- Design and document file transfer architectures, onboarding procedures, implementation plans, and operational runbooks.
- Coordinate testing activities including connectivity testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production readiness validation.
- Solve onboarding and connectivity issues involving network, firewall, authentication, certificates, encryption, and protocol configurations.
- Work closely with information security teams to ensure consistency to security standards, encryption requirements, and compliance controls.
- Provide guidance and consultation to application teams regarding MFT standards, file exchange patterns, and onboarding requirements.
- Support certificate management activities, including certificate generation, renewal, installation, and partner coordination.
- Develop self-servicing capabilities and reusable onboarding templates using emerging AI tools/technologies to improve onboarding efficiency.
- Monitor onboarding metrics and continuously improve onboarding processes, documentation, and customer experience.
- Participate in incident resolution related to newly onboarded applications and file transfer processes.
- Mentor team members and contribute to process standardization initiatives.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years of experience supporting working on mission critical integration platforms, or similar technologies.
- Strong knowledge on networking fundamentals, including DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and connectivity solving.
- Experience with SSL/TLS, PGP encryption, digital certificates, and secure data transmission practices.
- Proficiency with Linux/Unix operating systems and scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
- Experience with file transfer testing and validation activities.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into onboarding solutions.
- Experience working in Agile, DevOps, or ITIL-based environments.
- Strong communication, documentation, and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously while meeting delivery timelines.
