Full Job Description
The Database Platform team's mission is to provide a scalable, consistent, and easy-to-use relational database platform to support our clients' relational data access use cases. Developers at Box routinely face challenges of serving millions of requests per second, while providing enterprise-grade uptime, consistency and performance guarantees. Our goal is to let them focus on business logic, while we make sure the data layer lives up to their requirements. As a SWE III on the Database Platform team, you will have a unique opportunity to shape the future of data at Box. We are in an exciting era of growth and that means serving more customer traffic and data than ever before. Working closely with the database infrastructure team and data access service team, you will implement novel solutions to scale our database including adopting and evolving our systems around cloud-managed database solutions. Box's accelerated growth in the AI era also means we support an ever-increasing velocity of development within Box. You will also develop intuitive interfaces and provide automated services for schema management to enable developers to focus on shipping changes with streamlined change processes, while also freeing up the team to focus on innovation and strategic solutions.
