What you'll doWe are looking for a Software Engineer with a blend of back and front-end experience to join our Strategic Partner Integration team. In this role you will own the full development lifecycle-designing, building, testing, and deploying product features for Docusign's enterprise solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize and scale complex, micro-service-based cloud integrations in an agile, fast-paced environment. You will bring a growth mindset by challenging the status quo on architecture and processes, you will help build enterprise-grade, highly reliable, and scalable cloud services. You will work on cutting edge technologies and modern tools to directly contribute to Docusign's top priority: bringing Intelligent Agreement Management to large enterprise customers.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering.
Responsibility- Design, implement, and maintain high-quality software applications using C#, .net, ASP.Net, JavaScript, Node.js, and TypeScript, ensuring optimal performance and user experience
- Create robust architecture and design patterns for scalable applications, ensuring code reusability and maintainability
- Ensure code health through continuous refactoring and proactive management of technical debt
- Collaborate with Product and Design to translate requirements into scalable technical designs
- Write comprehensive automated tests to maintain a high bar for software quality
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team's technical documentation
- Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to development workflows
- Research and evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance development practices and drive innovation
- Participate in on-call rotation

What you bringBasic- BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years software engineering experience in a SaaS organization
- 3+ years' experience building resilient platforms, software as a service, architecture and integration
- Experience in software development, specializing in C#, Java, C++,Node.js, TypeScript or any other object oriented programming language
- Experience with both frontend and backend development, capable of building and maintaining scalable applications
- Experience with Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience with various design patterns and architectural principles, enabling the creation of maintainable and reusable code
- Experience working in Agile environments, contributing to iterative development and continuous improvement processes
- Hands-on experience with micro-service based system architecture, including RESTful API design
Preferred- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with .Net/C#/ASP.NET Core
- Experience with React/Javascript/TypeScript, Angular, or similar modern JS frameworks accepted
- Experience in Azure Technology stack like Azure Kubernetes, CosmosDB, Azure EventHub
- Experience with git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native deployment (containers/Kubernetes)
- Experience with Modern AI Agentic Coding tools like Claude Code/Github Copilot/Cursor
Wage TransparencyPay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $111,900.00 - $162,250.00 base salary
This role is also eligible for the following:
- Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
- Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
