In this role you will...- Lead Technical Design: Provide guidance and mentorship on design patterns, code quality, and engineering best practices across the backend.
- Build Scalable Systems: Develop, maintain, and optimize fault-tolerant services using Go to support our growing fintech ecosystem.
- Architect SaaS Solutions: Design and evolve distributed systems, focusing on data modeling, concurrency, and resiliency patterns.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with product, design, and operations teams to translate complex requirements into high-impact features.
- Ensure Reliability: Implement robust observability and testing strategies to maintain a high bar for performance and stability in a regulated environment.
You have...- Experience: At least 4 years of backend engineering experience, specifically with Golang and MySQL, and at least some experience some experience with Claude prompt engineering.
- Infrastructure: Ideally, experience with AWS (Terraform/Terragrunt) or similar.
- Domain Expertise: Ideally, prior experience in Fintech or regulated industries, specifically with payments, reconciliation, or transaction/ledger systems.
- Location: Based in Atlanta, GA (hybrid).
