We are seeking a highly curious, analytical and social-first individual to join our North America Coffee Marketing organization as our Social Intelligence & Operations Manager. This individual will report to the Director, Social & Communications.

Social moves fast. We're looking for someone who can help us understand not just what's happening, but why it matters and what we should do about it.

This role will sit at the intersection of social, culture, consumers and data, elevating our approach to social listening, intelligence, analytics, technology and governance. You'll turn millions of conversations and signals into actionable insights our brands can use, helping us to understand what consumers are saying, how culture is shifting, where our brands stand, what competitors are doing and where the next opportunity may be.

As a key member of the Connections + Creativity team, you'll support iconic brands including Keurig®, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters® and The Original Donut Shop®, using social intelligence to inform everything from content and creative to community, campaigns and broader marketing decisions.

The ideal candidate is equal parts analytical thinker, cultural observer and strategic storyteller, with a track record of building successful social intelligence programs in-house or at an agency. You can dig into the data, but you don't stop at the dashboard. You're curious enough to ask why, strategic enough to determine so what, and confident enough to recommend now what. Most importantly, you're passionate about social and culture and energized by the opportunity to turn insights into action and help our brands move at the speed of social.

What you will do:

Turn Social Signals Into Strategy
  • Help drive our approach to social, with a specific focus on actionable recommendations across messaging, channels, influencers, and content using social intelligence tools and technology.
  • Elevate our social intelligence program by working with teams to craft relevant, timely insights by understanding online behaviors of key audiences. This includes identification of cultural insights and connections to campaign performance.
  • Partner closely with the Marketing Analytics team to infuse social data sets within marketing measurement models to drive business performance.
  • Help shape our approach to social by translating social intelligence into clear, actionable recommendations across content, messaging, channels, creators and community.
  • Elevate our social intelligence program by uncovering audience behaviors, cultural shifts, emerging conversations and whitespace opportunities that can inform brand and business decisions.
  • Connect social and cultural insights to campaign and content performance to help teams understand not just what performed, but why.
  • Partner closely with Marketing Analytics to connect social data with broader measurement approaches and build a more complete picture of brand and business performance.

Find the Story Behind the Data
  • Find the story behind the data, turning complex social signals - from conversation drivers and sentiment to audience behaviors and influential voices - into clear insights and recommendations marketers and senior leaders can act on.
  • Connect social intelligence to content, creative, community, media and audience strategy, helping teams understand not just what is happening, but why it matters and what we should do next.
  • Keep a pulse on competitors, category conversations, culture and best-in-class brands to understand where our brands are winning, what's stopping the scroll and where untapped opportunities exist.
  • Evolve how we measure the impact of social, from always-on content and planned campaigns to reactive moments and proactive cultural opportunities, connecting social performance to broader marketing and business objectives.
  • Partner with teams across the organization to turn business questions into smart social intelligence approaches, bringing the right data, tools and perspective to uncover answers and inform decisions.

Build the Engine Behind the Work
  • Help ensure our social intelligence capabilities, tools and processes allow our teams to move quickly and make smarter decisions.
  • Conduct regular audits of tools and emerging partner capabilities to ensure our technology stack continues to meet evolving business needs.
  • Oversee the continued enhancement of our social technology ecosystem and guide technology partners toward solutions fit for our Marketing organization.
  • Help establish social governance, measurement frameworks and ways of working that enable teams across the organization to use social intelligence effectively and consistently.

Total Rewards:
  • Salary Range: $86,000 - $120,000
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
  • Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

Requirements:

We're looking for someone who lives and breathes social but thinks beyond the feed. You're endlessly curious about people, culture and why conversations take off. You love finding the story hidden in the data and, more importantly, helping teams understand what to do with it.

You're comfortable moving between dashboards and creative conversations, digging into a cultural moment one minute and presenting a recommendation to senior leadership the next. You thrive in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment and are excited by the opportunity to help build what best-in-class social intelligence looks like for our Coffee brands.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Research or a related field
  • Seeking 5-7 years of marketing experience, with 3-4 in social listening and analytics
  • Extensive experience with Social Media Management tools like Sprinklr, YouScan, Sprout or similar tools
  • Deep understanding of the social landscape including cultural trends, platform dynamics and industry, audience behaviors, and industry best practices
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, including the ability to translate complex findings into clear stories for senior leaders
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to move from data 12 insight 12 recommendation 12 action
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once while demonstrating strong composure and flexibility
  • Highly collaborative; excels at working cross-functionally to drive results
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, and ability to work independently
  • Passion for social media, culture, consumers and coffee is always a plus
