Your role and responsibilities

As a Technical Consultant in Security Intelligence & Operations Consulting Services, you will deliver technical expertise in client billable services, utilizing IBM's Security Intelligence and Operations Consulting assets and reference architectures. You will leverage your expertise in one or more Security Intelligence Operation Center (SIOC) platforms and technologies to effectively articulate IBM's SIOC and SIEM points of view.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
Manage SIEM Technology: Manage Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) technology, ensuring effective log sourcing, contextual data, and data source integration.
Configure Production Environment: Configure production environment, including business intelligence and web portals, to meet client needs.
Deliver Technical Expertise: Deliver technical expertise in client billable services, utilizing IBM's Security Intelligence and Operations Consulting assets and reference architectures.
Integrate Log and Test Environments: Integrate log and test environments to ensure seamless operations and optimal performance.
Communicate Complex Ideas: Clearly and effectively communicate complex security intelligence and event management concepts to clients and stakeholders.

Required technical and professional expertise
Exposure to Security Intelligence Operation Center (SIOC) platforms and technologies: Familiarity with one or more SIOC platforms and technologies, enabling effective articulation of IBM's SIOC and SIEM points of view.
Experience working with SIEM Technology: Understanding of Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) technology, including log sourcing, contextual data, and data source integration.
Exposure to Data Integration: Knowledge of integrating log and test environments to ensure seamless operations and optimal performance.
Experience with Security Intelligence Concepts: Understanding of security intelligence and event management concepts, including the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
Exposure to Business Intelligence and Web Portals: Familiarity with configuring production environments, including business intelligence and web portals, to meet client needs.

Canadian Federal government security clearance Level 2 - Secret or eligible to achieve security clearance

Preferred technical and professional experience
Additional SIOC Platform Knowledge: Exposure to multiple Security Intelligence Operation Center (SIOC) platforms and technologies, enhancing ability to articulate IBM's SIOC and SIEM points of view.
Advanced SIEM Technology Skills: Experience working with various Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) technologies, including complex log sourcing and data source integration.
Business Intelligence Configuration: Exposure to configuring business intelligence and web portals in production environments to meet diverse client needs.

This role will involve working with technology that is covered by Export Regulations sanctions. If you are a Foreign National from any of the following US sanctioned countries (Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhia regions of Ukraine) on a work permit, you are not eligible for employment in this position.

The salary range for the position is based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate salary within this range may vary depending on your job-related skills and experience for this position.
