Full Job Description
Main missions:

Ensure customer expectations are met in terms of on time delivery, and product quality. Develop a team in production, that will provide a consistently high quality product in an efficient manner. Make sure that industrial information system is properly used. Give training and support to the users.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for safety, quality, cost and delivery of assigned shift
  • Responsible to lead team and promote teamwork to acheive objectives
  • Closely monitor quality levels and root cause ; correcting any non-conformances
  • Maintain processes per the process control plans and ensure associates are following the standards
  • Supervise production associates • Consistently apply policies and procedures
  • Develop, Implement, and evaluate continuous improvement plans
  • Continually work to understand the customer's requirements in terms of quality and delivery.
  • Provide feedback to department manager about any quality or production concerns
  • Develop all associates into cross-trained, high performing team members
  • Provide first level of support to the users. Collaborate with other key users to analyze and solve cross domains issues
  • Ensure production and scrap declaration are done for all products
  • Monitor and analyze error messages from MES journal. Address them to appropriate person when reason not found
  • Reporting activity per shift to track performance / deviations, and bring quick answers to fix issues, and inform the shift leader/Sysco
  • Promote golden rules (RFID tag on each part, position respected, no bypass, no repositioning of label...) in his team
  • Report hardware related issues/need to IT
  • Monitor and analyze and correct based on the exception reports

Profile:
  • Adequate leadership training or college education
  • Previous management experience (at least 5 years) • Previous automotive experience a plus
  • Good written and verbal communication • Ability to manage priorities and demonstrate a high level reactivity in critical situations
  • Ability to communicate with employees from diverse backgrounds

Pay Range:

75,000 - 86,520
