What You Will Do:- Serve as a ServiceNow Technical Architect and Subject Matter Expert, leading the design, implementation, and optimization of complex, enterprise-scale solutions on the ServiceNow platform
- Define and own the enterprise ServiceNow architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy, security requirements, and IT objectives
- Translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable, maintainable, and integrated ServiceNow solutions
- Lead the end-to-end architecture and design across platform capabilities, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps, and App Engine
- Architect and oversee complex integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and event-driven patterns
- Establish and enforce platform governance, development standards, and architectural guardrails
- Provide hands-on guidance in configuration and development, including scoped applications, workflows, Flow Designer, and automation solutions
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and platform health assessments to ensure quality, performance, and scalability
- Design and implement reusable and scalable platform components aligned with ServiceNow best practices
- Lead platform lifecycle management, including upgrade planning, regression strategy, and release management
- Drive adoption of DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and source control
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and administrators; act as an escalation point for complex technical challenges
- Collaborate with executive and working-level stakeholders to align platform capabilities to mission and business outcomes
- Evaluate and recommend emerging ServiceNow capabilities, including AI/automation and advanced analytics
What You Will Need:- Bachelor's degree is required
- Minimum of TEN (10) years of professional experience
- Proven experience serving as a lead or enterprise ServiceNow Architect on large-scale, multi-module implementations
- Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is preferred
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture, including CMDB, CSDM, data modeling, and domain separation
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing complex enterprise integrations
- Experience with platform scalability, performance tuning, and instance optimization
- Strong understanding of security architecture, including role-based access controls and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP)
- Proven ability to establish and enforce governance frameworks, SDLC processes, and development standards
- Experience with DevOps/CI-CD tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) for ServiceNow delivery
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive stakeholders and influence strategic decisions
- US Citizenship is contractually required.

What Would Be Nice To Have:- ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA), Certified Technical Architect (CTA), and/or ArchX certifications (CTA strongly preferred or in progress)
- Experience implementing and governing Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and mature CMDB strategies
- Prior experience leading enterprise-scale ServiceNow transformations or platform consolidations
- Experience with AI-driven capabilities (e.g., Now Assist, Predictive Intelligence, Automation Engine)
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF)
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with cloud platforms and enterprise systems (Azure, AWS, SAP, Salesforce, etc.)
- Background supporting Authority to Operate (ATO) processes in federal environments
- Experience in federal consulting or public sector environments
- Strong alignment with ITIL/ITSM best practices
The annual salary range for this position is $122,000.00-$203,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
