Full Job Description
This position reports to:
Service Sales Manager

As a Regional Services Sales Manager, you will drive sales performance for ABB's Critical Power & Energy Solutions Services within the Electrification business across an assigned service territory. You will lead sales and business development initiatives aligned with global strategy, build customer relationships, and create new order opportunities by delivering high-performance solutions for customers with critical power needs.

Reporting to the Service Sales Director, you will own territory execution, manage the sales cycle, and convert customer needs into service opportunities that improve system reliability , strengthen the customer experience, and drive revenue growth.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage customer and prospect relationships across Financial Services, Data Center, Industrial, Government, and Healthcare markets; serve as the primary outside sales resource and customer advocate.
  • Drive direct sales activities, including lead follow-up, strategic account planning, application discovery, cost justification, and system configuration.
  • Deliver quarterly sales targets, manage assigned territories and national accounts, and expand market share.
  • Translate customer needs and business requirements into service solutions and proposals aligned with customer priorities.
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce pipeline data and coordinate documentation for quotes, contracts, and cost estimates.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close profitable service opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support smooth sales-to-service handoffs and a consistent customer experience through the post-sales process.

Job Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop customer relationships, manage a sales pipeline, and close service opportunities.
  • 5+ years of sales experience, or equivalent experience, in Critical Power or equipment-related industries selling aftermarket services, contracts, and parts.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets, expand market share, and convert customer needs into profitable service solutions.
  • Preferred experience in business development, account management, cross-selling, and contract negotiation.
  • 3+ years of Salesforce experience managing pipeline, opportunities, and customer activity.
  • Preferred knowledge of uninterruptible power supplies, static switches, power distribution units, related spare parts, and service contracts.
  • Strong customer-focused communication and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, marketing, business management, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time.

Time off

ABB provides 11 paid holidays. Vacation is provided based on years of service for hourly and non-exempt positions. Salaried exempt positions are provided vacation under a permissive time away policy.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $95,000 and $115,000 annually and is bonus eligible.
