Job Summary

The Senior IT Security Administrator will support Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC)-based software, tools, and solutions to advance analysis and implementation efforts. This role will identify and process application-specific data to enumerate cryptographic connections within the project scope and collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, leadership, cybersecurity teams, and lines of business to communicate technical considerations related to cryptography, network architecture, software libraries, and downstream impacts. The role will also support holistic PQC solutions, coordinate multiple teams and workstreams, mitigate security risks, and identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and AI within Secure Data Management.

Key Responsibilities
• Support Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC)-based software, tools, and solutions to advance analysis and implementation efforts.
• Identify and process application-specific data to enumerate cryptographic connections within the scope of the PQC initiative.
• Engage with stakeholders, product owners, and leadership to communicate technical details and obtain appropriate alignment on project activities.
• Communicate technical considerations related to cryptography, network architecture, software libraries, and downstream impacts.
• Collaborate with related teams to develop holistic solutions supporting PQC initiatives.
• Coordinate separate teams and workstreams to deliver unified project results.
• Work closely with cyber incident response teams, threat hunting teams, and lines of business to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Identify and drive process improvements within Secure Data Management.
• Evaluate opportunities for process automation and the use of AI to improve security and data management processes.
• Support security collaboration with internal and external parties.

Required Qualifications
• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related security-focused role.
• Basic understanding of cryptography.
• Basic understanding of network architecture, servers, and potential PQC endpoints.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely through verbal communication and technical writing.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external security teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in CIS, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Understanding of Certificate Lifecycle Management and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
• Understanding of network protocols, software libraries, and other technologies relevant to PQC.
• Experience with automation and scripting of applications and systems.
• Knowledge of relational databases and Structured Query Language (SQL).
• Knowledge of client/server relationships and multi-tier environments.
• Experience with IBM Guardium tools.
• Experience with PKI, PQC, Venafi, and other cryptography-related technologies.

Certifications
• Security+ certification.
• Network+ certification.
• Other relevant cybersecurity certifications.
