The OpportunityAdobe's HR Technology team is seeking a hands-on Senior Workday Platform Architect to build the future of our HR technology ecosystem.
This senior individual contributor leads architecture across Security, platform configuration, Extend, and AI. Collaborating with Product Managers, engineers, and business partners, this role delivers secure, scalable solutions while setting technical standards and governance.
What You'll DoWorkday Security & Platform Architecture
- Take responsibility for platform architecture, governance, Security, and tenant strategy.
- Manage tenant lifecycle, refreshes, SSO, platform access, and non-production environments.
- Lead CAB, releases, audit readiness, platform health, and vendor partnerships.
- Evaluate and implement new platform capabilities, including Extend, Workday Everywhere, and AI.
- Define standards for security, configuration, metadata, and governance.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and engineers to provide secure, scalable solutions.
Workday Extend- Define architecture and standards for Extend solutions.
- Build and prototype applications that address business needs.
- Establish reusable patterns and governance.
- Partner with engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Workday Integration- Maintain proficiency in Workday integration technologies.
- Provide architectural mentorship for integration build and strategy.
Workday AI & Innovation- Evaluate and adopt AI capabilities, including Illuminate.
- Find opportunities to improve employee and HR experiences.
- Establish AI governance, security, and architecture standards.
- Monitor new capabilities and recommend adoption.
What You Need to SucceedRequired
- 8+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience.
- Extensive knowledge of the Workday Security Framework.
- Experience architecting enterprise-scale Workday solutions.
- Experience with Workday Extend.
- Strong knowledge of platform architecture, Business Process Framework, tenant configuration, and release management.
- Knowledge of Workday integration technologies and AI functionalities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred- Workday Pro certification.
- Experience with Security, Extend, AI, and Illuminate.
- Experience integrating Workday with enterprise HR systems.
Expected Pay Range:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $140,800 -- $263,350 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $181,900 - $263,350
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
