About the Role
The Senior Value Advisor is responsible for accelerating sales deals by determining and effectively communicating the value of Hyland's proposed solutions. In this senior-level role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to sales teams, prospects, and customers β leading the most complex, high-value consulting engagements, crafting compelling business cases, and presenting ROI-driven findings to executive and C-suite audiences. Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.
- Operate as a trusted advisor to sales teams, prospects, and customers β leading the most complex, high-value consulting engagements and presenting value consulting findings directly to executive and C-level prospects.
- Conduct onsite value workshops at customer locations to assess the cost of the customer's current state and quantify the estimated value of the future state with Hyland's solutions.
- Generate ROI workbooks and create complex business cases and executive-level presentations that clearly articulate the overall value of Hyland's solutions, owning the full process from SPAR assignment through delivery and customer approval.
- Work with sales teams and strategic partners to define the scope and objectives of value consulting engagements, training partners to independently conduct value workshops and deliver consistent, high-quality outputs.
- Serve as an innovative thought leader across the sales organization β documenting insights from previous engagements, tracking industry trends and case studies, and ensuring consistency of deliverables, approach, and best practices.
- Mentor, coach, and train team members while collaborating proactively with the product organization to evaluate the value of existing and proposed solutions and product enhancements.
Role Essentials
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with extensive expertise in value consulting and enterprise content services solutions across multiple verticals and business processes.
- Strong command of financial concepts including ROI, MARR, payback period, present value, IRR, and depreciation β with the ability to clearly communicate these to executive and C-level audiences.
- Excellent negotiating, influencing, and consensus-building skills with the ability to align multiple departments and leadership levels around a shared vision.
- Excellent ability to establish rapport and gain trust β presenting and writing with ease, clarity, and impact using a communication style appropriate to the subject and audience.
- Self-motivated with the ability to independently manage complex engagements to completion in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment β with up to 25% travel required.

- Experience mentoring, coaching, or training team members and strategic partners on value consulting methodologies and best practices.

- A track record of operating as a thought leader β contributing to the overall growth and quality of a department through innovation, knowledge sharing, and a commitment to excellence.
- Experience working closely with product organizations to assess and communicate the value of existing and proposed solutions and enhancements.
Pay Transparency
The compensation range for this role is $180,000-217,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors in accordance with applicable laws.
