Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Product Manager with 8+ years of experience, including direct ownership of consumer-facing e-commerce websites or digital storefront products. The role will own the end-to-end website experience and platform, translating consumer and commercial strategy into a technically coherent, globally scalable roadmap. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in storefront experiences, platform modernization, dependencies, non-functional requirements, data-driven prioritization, and cross-functional product leadership.

Key Responsibilities
• Own the technical product definition for the website experience and platform, translating consumer and commercial strategy into a technically coherent and well-sequenced platform roadmap.
• Shape product strategy through technical insight by identifying new opportunities, structural constraints, cost considerations, and platform dependencies.
• Drive platform coherence across fragmented, country-specific site experiences and move toward a configurable product that can be adopted by new markets and brands without bespoke engineering.
• Own storefront experience surfaces including home and landing pages, category and search results, product detail, cart, checkout, and authenticated account experiences.
• Ensure storefront experiences integrate effectively with content, merchandising, personalization, and identity capabilities.
• Build and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors across commerce platforms, search and merchandising, product content, ratings and reviews, content management, experimentation, and CDN/edge services.
• Partner with Commercial, Product, and Engineering teams to translate commercial goals and platform vision into a global roadmap.
• Balance foundational platform requirements with market-specific and campaign-specific use cases.
• Identify opportunities, establish ROI, and prioritize and negotiate initiatives that support product vision and strategy.
• Ensure roadmaps account for technical health, performance, scalability, and dependencies across functions and adjacent product roadmaps.
• Identify and manage dependencies across order management, product content, identity and loyalty, customer care, fraud and payments, tax, and third-party data feeds.
• Uncover dependencies early, establish clear ownership, and treat incomplete dependency mapping as a product risk.
• Reduce dependencies through clear contracts, stable interfaces, asynchronous integration, and loosely coupled designs.
• Sequence delivery around remaining dependencies, negotiate commitments with dependent teams, and make critical paths and assumptions visible.
• Build strong working relationships with dependent teams by providing context and lead time while escalating unresolved conflicts through appropriate channels.
• Establish and enforce non-functional product requirements covering accessibility, site performance, SEO, and analytics instrumentation.
• Ensure WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility requirements are incorporated into acceptance criteria and support compliance with applicable accessibility regulations.
• Define Core Web Vitals and page-level performance budgets and ensure they are validated before release.
• Establish technical SEO requirements covering URL structure, canonicalization, structured data, redirects, and indexability.
• Ensure analytics and measurement requirements are defined as part of product requirements rather than retrofitted after launch.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify business needs, desired outcomes, value, and appropriate product tradeoffs.
• Provide strategic recommendations for addressing business challenges and determine when tradeoffs are preferable to additional scope.
• Partner with Technology teams to deliver the roadmap and achieve projected business value.
• Represent the team in reviews with partners and senior leadership to align resources, priorities, and time to value.
• Establish a consistent prioritization process and clearly communicate the website roadmap, objectives, priorities, and product decisions.
• Use conversion funnels, site performance, search and browse behavior, experimentation results, and other relevant data to inform product decisions.
• Develop data-driven narratives that demonstrate commercial impact and product value.
• Track value delivered, adoption, performance, and execution against the end-to-end roadmap and adjust priorities as needed.
• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, including operational readiness and post-launch quality.
• Benchmark capabilities against industry trends and best practices.
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes in partnership with engineering and architecture teams.
• Define OKRs and scope and prioritize initiatives based on forecasted impact.
• Act as an agent of change by challenging existing approaches and adopting methodologies that improve outcomes.

Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of technical product management experience, including direct ownership of consumer-facing e-commerce website or digital storefront products.
• Subject matter expertise across storefront domains including discovery, on-site search, category and product detail experiences, cart and checkout conversion, content and merchandising workflows, and authenticated account experiences.
• Hands-on experience with commerce platform migration or replatforming initiatives.
• Experience launching or onboarding additional countries or brands onto a shared platform.
• Demonstrated ability to identify dependencies before they become schedule risks and simplify dependencies through improved architecture and integration approaches.
• Ability to interpret integration and data-flow diagrams, understand upstream and downstream consumers, and participate effectively in technical design discussions.
• Working knowledge of accessibility standards and remediation, performance budgets, Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, localization, and privacy and consent requirements such as GDPR.
• Working knowledge of modern storefront architecture, including headless and composable commerce, APIs, integration patterns, CDN and edge behavior, feature flags, and progressive rollout strategies.
• Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, evaluate tradeoffs, and assess new opportunities with internal and external partners.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to support assumptions, recommendations, and product decisions.
• Experience designing and interpreting A/B tests and experimentation results.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects across multiple time zones.
• Experience working with vendor and partner teams.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, including the ability to challenge senior stakeholders and clearly explain product and technical decisions.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with globally scalable digital commerce platforms.
• Experience working with headless or composable commerce architectures.
• Experience with progressive delivery, feature flags, experimentation platforms, and CDN/edge technologies.
• Experience with international market expansion and multi-brand platform adoption.
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments with multiple technology and business stakeholders.
