Job Summary
We are seeking a highly technical, hands-on Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and maintain development and production environments while partnering closely with software engineering teams to improve application reliability, scalability, and deployment efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong software engineering mindset combined with deep infrastructure expertise, strong automation skills, and experience supporting enterprise application environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, automate, and maintain development and production environments.
• Partner closely with software engineering teams to improve application reliability, scalability, and deployment efficiency.
• Develop Python-based automation to streamline infrastructure and operational tasks.
• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Support application build, deployment, and release processes across enterprise environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across infrastructure, networking, and applications.
• Support Java and other enterprise application environments.
• Automate operational processes and improve system reliability through engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams in Agile software development environments.
• Apply modern AI-powered development tools where appropriate to improve engineering workflows.
• Support highly available production environments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong Python scripting and automation experience.
• Extensive experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycles, application build processes, and deployment methodologies.
• Experience supporting Java or other enterprise application environments.
• Strong Linux systems administration experience.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, networking, and applications.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, routing, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP and HAProxy.
• Experience with reverse proxy technologies.
• Experience supporting highly available production environments.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
