Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Senior Talent Advisor - Early Careers to join our Cummins Inc. team in Troy, MI.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
  • Lead recruiting strategies and hiring activities that deliver top Early Careers talent aligned with business workforce needs.
  • Build and sustain talent pipelines through targeted sourcing, campus engagement, and strategic recruiting initiatives.
  • Advise hiring managers and stakeholders with market intelligence, recruiting expertise, and data-driven insights to improve hiring outcomes.
  • Drive a seamless candidate experience through effective communication, streamlined processes, and proactive stakeholder coordination.
  • Strengthen recruiting effectiveness by monitoring key performance indicators and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with employment policies, legal requirements, and recruiting standards while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to execute talent acquisition initiatives that support organizational growth and workforce planning.
  • Enhance Cummins' employer brand by representing the organization at recruiting events and contributing to talent attraction strategies.


Responsibilities

  • Advanced ability to lead full-cycle recruiting efforts while balancing competing priorities, stakeholder needs, and evolving business demands.
  • Strong consultative, influencing, and relationship-building skills with the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, recruiters, and candidates.
  • Expertise in talent sourcing, candidate assessment, and selection strategies that drive quality hiring decisions and diverse talent outcomes.
  • Proven capability to leverage recruiting metrics, analytics, and business insights to inform decisions and improve hiring performance.
  • Demonstrated agility, sound judgment, and collaborative leadership with a passion for delivering exceptional candidate and stakeholder experiences.


Education, Licenses, Certifications:
  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required.


Qualifications

Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Key Competencies:
  • Serves as the senior recruiting subject-matter expert for the Early Careers recruiting team.
  • Owns requisition dispatching, workload coordination, and timely requisition activation.
  • Creates and audits functional pipeline requisitions to ensure accuracy and compliance with posting requirements.
  • Supports the Early Careers conversion process, including mapping sessions, candidate alignment, tracking, and related recruiting activities as needed.
  • Maintains a low-volume, requisition portfolio, adjusted based on seasonal hiring needs and business demand.
  • Supports campus, conference, functional, referral, and other strategic recruiting initiatives, including candidate funnel tracking.
  • Serves as the backup to the Operations Leader as required.
  • Supports special projects, process improvements, and hiring activities as needed.
  • Responsibilities may evolve based on business needs and Early Careers priorities.
  • Previous experience serving as a senior recruiter, recruiting subject-matter expert, or providing peer guidance and coaching to recruiters, highly preferred
