Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex supply chain assignments across various regions and market segments.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on supply chain issues related to electrical systems and data center construction.
  • Review and analyze technical documents, including drawings, specifications, and procurement packages.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers, project teams, and subcontractors to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide commercial and technical guidance to support project schedule, safety, and client commitments.

Full Job Description

The Senior Supply Chain Specialist, Electrical Systems leads complex supply chain assignments across regions, market segments, or specialized operational areas while serving as a subject matter resource to internal teams. The position combines advanced supply chain expertise with electrical engineering design and construction knowledge to help ensure that equipment and materials purchased by Clune technically meet the requirements of data center construction projects. The role reviews drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, procurement packages, vendor proposals, and technical clarifications; coordinates with manufacturers, project teams, Clune MEP staff, electrical subcontractors, designers, commissioning partners, and internal supply chain leadership; and provides clear technical and commercial guidance that supports project schedule, quality, safety, compliance, and client commitments.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in construction, engineering, MEP/electrical coordination, commissioning, supply chain management, procurement, contracting, vendor management, or a related field. Preference for experience with large-scale commercial construction, mission-critical/data center projects, or long-lead electrical equipment procurement.
  • Advanced experience and knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, BIM/model coordination, construction management, submittal review, startup, commissioning, and manufacturer coordination strongly preferred.
  • Experience reviewing plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, technical proposals, equipment schedules, and manufacturer documentation required.
  • Working knowledge of supply chain management, sourcing, contract management, inventory management, Microsoft Office, PDF tools, financial management tools, and project/business systems. Familiarity with CMiC, Power BI, CLM tools, commissioning platforms, BIM/model coordination tools, CxAlloy or similar systems is preferred.
  • ISM CPSM certification within 12 months of hire/promotion preferred, unless an alternate technical professional certification is approved based on the role’s electrical engineering or construction focus.
  • High School diploma
